Hola amigos de Hive! espero que se encuentren muy bien!. en esta oportunidad paso por esta hermosa comunidad con ánimos de participar en el contest # 206, espero no sea muy tarde.

Un viaje que vive en mis recuerdos

Hace varios (muchos) años atrás, cuando era niña, solía viajar en las vacaciones escolares de Julio, generalmente nuestro viaje era un paseo para Caripe, donde disfrutábamos la visita a la cueva del Guácharo y degustabamos las fresas con crema artesanales, o ibamos de compra a Margarita!, nos divertíamos mucho entre parques, piscinas, playas y visitas a centro comerciales donde en aquel entonces nos compraban muchas cosas!, entre ellas los útiles escolares.

Pero hablemos de una que me haya impactado, no sé si era por lo distinto que fue todo!, si era por lo totalmente diferente del clima, la vegetación, no se! pero el viaje que más me gustó fue uno que hicimos a Mérida!, tenía 11 años y extrañamente me acuerdo de muchos detalles que ojalá no se me borren de la mente!.

El viaje fue sumamente largo, fuimos 2 familias en 2 carros, hicimos una primera parada en Valencia (no tengo recuerdo de Valencia) y luego a Barinas!, llegamos a un hotel para decansar, era centrico recuerdo y esa noche vimos en un cine pequeño ANACONDA, imáginen el tiempo que tiene este viaje!.

AL día siguiente continuamos en viaje y recuerdo las montañas con frailejones, la neblina, los dulcitos que vendían en la carretera y las paradas a tomar algo caliente.

Nos abrigábamos mucho y compramos guantes, gorrito y bufandas para el frío, lo cómico es que creo que saben cuando son turistas porque nos abrigamos así! jajajjaa.

Recuerdo que subiendo el páramo había una vaca en el camino y nos bajamos a tomarnos una foto, pues cuando corrimos nos faltó el aire !, desconociamos este tema de la altura que pudiera afectarnos la respiración.

Del hotel no me acuerdo, pero si de los parque, pero más me gustó el mercado, donde desayunabamos un desayuno andino, probe las arepitas andinas, con natilla, super rico y lo pedía con tocineta y huevo frito, no faltaba el batido de fresa.

ibamos a un negocio de articulos curiosos, la mayoría de trucos, y compramos tinta mágica, chiclets con trampas, mayonesa falsa con un cordon para asustar... no recuerdo que más!, también me acuerdo de una foto que tomamos de recuerdo y colocaban en un prendedor y que aún conservan mis padres.

El teleférico, la gran aventura de ver la hermosa naturaleza de mérida desde las alturas, era como magia estar allí!, era una niña así que podía disfrutar de esto con todo mi ser. No pudimos llegar a la última estación porque el teleférico no estaba disponible y a mi prima le afectó mucho la altura, tuvieron que ponerle oxígeno.

Recuerdo una cascada, un lago que creo que se llamaba el anteojo, tantas cosas que se me vienen a la mente, había paseo en burros y las personas andinas vestían con los trajes típicos, era hermoso!.

Gracias comunidad por esta iniciativa, mi mente voló 28 años atrás y me llegaron hermosos recuerdos!!!.

Hello friends of Hive! I hope you are doing great!. This time I come by this beautiful community with the intention of participating in contest #206, I hope it's not too late.

Several (many) years ago, when I was a child, I used to travel during the July school holidays, usually our trip was to Caripe, where we enjoyed visiting the Guácharo cave and tasting homemade strawberries with cream, or we went shopping in Margarita!, we had a lot of fun between parks, pools, beaches, and visits to shopping centers where back then we were bought many things!, including school supplies.

But let's talk about one that impacted me, I don't know if it was because of how different everything was!, if it was because of the completely different climate, vegetation, I don't know! but the trip that I liked the most was the one we took to Mérida!, I was 11 years old and strangely I remember many details that I hope I don't forget!.

The trip was extremely long, 2 families traveled in 2 cars, we made a first stop in Valencia (I have no memory of Valencia) and then to Barinas!, we arrived at a centrally located hotel to rest, I remember and that night we watched the movie ANACONDA in a small cinema, imagine how old this trip is!.

The next day we continued the journey and I remember the mountains with frailejones, the fog, the sweet treats they sold on the road, and the stops for something hot.

We bundled up and bought gloves, hats, and scarves for the cold, the funny thing is that I think you can tell when we're tourists because we dress like that! hahaha.

I remember that going up the páramo there was a cow on the road and we got down to take a picture, but when we ran out of breath!, we didn't know this issue of altitude could affect our breathing.

I don't remember the hotel, but I do remember the parks, but what I liked the most was the market, where we had an Andean breakfast, I tried Andean arepas, with cream, super delicious, and I ordered it with bacon and fried egg, can't forget the strawberry smoothie.

We went to a store with curious items, mostly tricks, and bought magic ink, gum with traps, fake mayonnaise with a cord to scare... can't remember what else!, I also remember a photo we took as a keepsake and they put it on a brooch, which my parents still have.

The cable car, the great adventure of seeing the beautiful nature of Mérida from the heights, it was like magic to be there!, I was a child so I could enjoy this with all my being. We couldn't reach the last station because the cable car was not available and my cousin was greatly affected by the altitude, they had to give her oxygen.

I remember a waterfall, a lake that I think was called the eyeglass, so many things that come to mind, there were donkey rides and Andean people dressed in typical costumes, it was beautiful!.

Thanks community for this initiative, my mind flew back 28 years ago and beautiful memories came flooding back!!!.
