Mi sueño de reunión. ✅ My dream reunion.

Hola amigos, feliz día para todos. Recién acabo de leer sobre un concurso en el que me encantaría participar. ¿Cómo sería esa reunión de mis sueños y con quién? No te quedes con la duda y lee.

Hi folks, happy day to all. I just read about a contest that I would love to participate in. What would that meeting of my dreams look like and with whom? Don't be left wondering and read.

Desde hace algún tiempo vengo soñando con realizar un encuentro entre amigos artesanos; los de siempre, compañeros de trabajo, miembros de mi familia y por supuesto todos los hivers artesanos o manualistas de mi ciudad y lugares aledaños. ¡Me emociono muchísimo tan solo de pensarlo! 😌 Estar todos juntos conversando e intercambiando experiencias sería espectacular. En un ambiente tranquilo, a cielo abierto, cómodo para todos. Disfrutaría un montón de cada una de las anécdotas que pudiéramos compartir sobre nuestras vidas como artesanos. Seguramente llevaría notas de todos los tips que mencionariamos ✍🏾 y documentaria con muchas fotos ese encuentro.

For some time now I have been dreaming of having a meeting between artisan friends; the ones I have always had, work colleagues, members of my family and of course all the hivers artisans or craftsmen of my city and surrounding areas. I got very excited just thinking about it! 😌 Being all together chatting and exchanging experiences would be spectacular. In a quiet environment, under the open sky, comfortable for everyone. I would thoroughly enjoy each and every anecdote we could share about our lives as crafters. I would surely take notes of all the tips that we would mention ✍🏾 and I would document with many photos that meeting.

✅ Mi sueño más anhelado es realizar algo así como una fiesta artesanal, tipo feria o expoferia, haríamos un cronograma de actividades de al menos tres días contínuos en los que cada uno tendría la oportunidad de presentar sus trabajos. Haríamos mini talleres, concursos, rifas y ventas.

✅ My dream is to make something like a craft festival, like a fair or expofair, we would make a schedule of activities of at least three continuous days in which everyone would have the opportunity to present their work. We would have mini workshops, contests, raffles and sales.

Sería muy grato realizar un evento como este porque los beneficios serían para todos: compartir, socializar, conocernos, mostrar los productos, exponer procesos, intercambiar saberes y más. Sé que es un sueño muy ambicioso, pero también sé que de alguna manera ☺️ tarde o temprano podría lograrse. Es por ello que (les adelanto) 🤫 ya he iniciado con los ensayos o prácticas de lo que mi sueño podría ser hecho realidad.

It would be a great pleasure to hold an event like this because the benefits would be for everyone: sharing, socializing, getting to know each other, showing products, exposing processes, exchanging knowledge and more. I know it is a very ambitious dream, but I also know that somehow ☺️ sooner or later it could be achieved. That is why I have already started with the rehearsals or practices of what my dream could become a reality.

En la ciudad donde vivo residen unos cuantos hivers que se dedican a compartir trabajos artesanales, la mayoría somos conocidos, hemos participado en los encuentros propiciados por #hivemonagas. Espero que algún día tengamos los recursos para planificar algo así más o menos como lo que sueño. Mientras tanto, de manera muy particular ☺️ yo con algunas amigas empezaremos con los primeros encuentros a ver cómo nos va. Claro está que organizar una reunión para tres personas jamás se compararía con hacer una para más de 20 o 30. Ya necesitaríamos de un personal calificado y con el conocimiento y el tiempo para organizarlo. Me encantaría estar como participante y colaborar con lo que esté a mi alcance.

In the city where I live there are a few hivers who are dedicated to sharing handmade works, most of us are known, we have participated in the meetings sponsored by #hivemonagas. I hope that someday we will have the resources to plan something more or less like what I dream of. In the meantime, in a very particular way ☺️ me and some friends will start with the first meetings to see how it goes. Of course, organizing a meeting for three people would never compare to doing one for more than 20 or 30. We would need a qualified staff with the knowledge and time to organize it. I would love to be a participant and collaborate with whatever I can.

Dicen que soñar no cuesta nada y es verdad, cerramos los ojos y todo lo que imaginamos es hermoso, sin embargo estoy consciente de lo complejo que podría ser organizar este tipo de evento. Aún así, las esperanzas son las últimas que se pierden. ¿Participarías en una expoferia artesanal en tu ciudad? ¿Cuáles ideas propones para que ese evento se realicé exitosamente?
Si Dios quiere en los próximos días estaré compartiendo sobre mi experiencia en estos primeros ensayos de reuniones entre artesanos que estaré realizando. Como siempre les agradezco muchísimo todo el apoyo que como hivers me han dado, es por ustedes que mi mente se mantiene abierta a la creatividad y todos los días estoy activa ideando y creando. Hacer un evento en el que podamos exponer y ver en tiempo real lo que hacemos sería genial.

They say that dreaming does not cost anything and it is true, we close our eyes and everything we imagine is beautiful, however I am aware of how complex it could be to organize this type of event. Even so, hopes are the last to be lost. Would you participate in a craft expo in your city? What ideas do you propose to make this event successful?
God willing, in the next few days I will be sharing my experience in these first rehearsals of meetings between artisans that I will be doing. As always I thank you very much for all the support you have given me as hivers, it is because of you that my mind remains open to creativity and every day I am actively thinking and creating. Doing an event where we can expose and see in real time what we do would be great.
