This week’s topic

"What is a famous legend from your country/culture/tribe?"

This should be an interesting one. I usually like to focus on modern cultural differences and how lifestyles and values vary from culture to culture and among individuals, but sometimes the legends and myths in a culture can show us where these values come from or at least get a deeper sense of the cultural sensibilities.

I have a feeling this one will lead to some very in depth replies. Feel free to answer however you'd like though.
