Cross Culture Weekend Threads #6: What is something you disagree with your parents over?

avatar

This has been quite a week for me. 10 days of sloppy drunk fun and art with a ton of people from around Asia and and a handful from Europe. I’ve made some time to post because it helps me channel my thoughts but I haven’t had any unoccupied time for 10 days.

This event has gotten me thinking about how to cross pollinate between different communities and get North and South America and Africa more involved in my IRL communities. For now Hive and Cross Culture is the most immediate but I hope to expand that to something physical one day and this week has only made me feel more strongly about that.

As soon as this week finishes I want to get more active on threads again and try to promote this contest. Please share it with your friends if you can to keep the momentum going!

This week’s topic

“What kind of things do you disagree with your parents about? Where do you not see eye to eye?

I want to hear all about the generation gap you feel with your parents and family as well as the changing tides of the culture around you.

Please get as detailed and original as possible with this, general ones that most people encounter are welcome but I will be more likely to choose the original and detailed ones as the winners.

Feel free to drop as many threads as you want. You can post in a single message or you share more details in the comments of your thread.

How to thread:

1 Go to Leo’s landing page and login to your hive account, choose which community to post a thread in with the little world icon and choose Cross Culture!
