Splinterlands Art Contest // Week 257//ANIMATED CORPSE
Hi guys! I have not posted in a while, so I thought I would get back into the groove with my latest entry into the splinterlands art contest. So in honor of my return I wanted to do a character that I have never done before, so I decided to give the Animated Corpse a try!
So I used this image as a reference
I started out with a normal graveyard set.
The set looked a little bland, so I decided to dress it up a bit by adding some tombstones and a couple of plants.
The program that I use for all of my works is called POSER12 its a very easy to use 3d modeling program that comes with ready made models. So I loaded a zombie figure from the library.
I wanted to make it look more like my reference image, so I made him green, removed his right arm and reworked his head and face.
I removed the eyes that he came with, and added a bigger and more menacing eye.
Then I added some torn clothes to finish him off. At first I thought the zombie was a bit too skinny and maybe I should fatten him up, but I changed my mind, because I figured it would just be dead weight lol.
Nice creation of really "animated" corpse
