Winter is a season of extremes in my city. The temperature often drops to as low as 4°C, wrapping everything in a freezing chill. While we don’t experience snowfall here, the thick blanket of fog creates a wintry atmosphere that feels just as magical and cold.

Despite the lack of snow, winter still finds its unique way to make its presence known. One such way is the ice that forms in our fridge during these cold months. The frost builds up so beautifully that it captures the essence of winter within our home.

For the POB Photo Contest with the theme “Cold,” I decided to capture and share this unique representation of winter. The layers of frost inside the fridge may not be as enchanting as a snowy landscape, but they tell their own story of how winter makes itself felt, even without snow. I hope you like it
