#185 Ladies, valuable mothers!

Happy Mother's Day to the mothers of the world, especially to the Venezuelan mothers because I am part of them....
Today is also family day, that's why this post is doubly valuable. HAPPY DAY!
Alejandra, mother of a smart, brave, occasionally naughty little girl, woke up with the sound of the alarm clock at 5 am. Like every morning, the routine was the same: preparing breakfast, getting the girl ready for school, bathing her, combing her hair, brushing her teeth, all of this is almost done in her sleep.
I take her to school, and then I go to work as a computer teacher.
One day more, one day less, thought Alejandra as she hurriedly got dressed.
Although her love for her daughter overflowed her and filled her life with unparalleled joy, she sometimes felt the weight of responsibility weighing her down. But seeing her daughter in school, studying with good kids, receiving extracurricular activities, was truly a band-aid for Alejandra's soul.
"Every day should be Mother's Day," she thought wistfully. A day for her, to dedicate time to herself, to read a book, to take a relaxing bath or simply to do nothing.

Moms that day should live a day of TODAY YES to everything, for whatever they want to live, a nice restaurant, a day at the Spa, a day at the beach with all expenses paid, with driver and stay.
I think it is a huge dream for anyone!
However, the reality was different. Their days were spent between washing soap, cooking, homework and snot.

In the midst of the chaos, Alejandra found small moments of happiness that reminded her of how valuable and unique she was:

  • Her daughter's beaming smile when she saw her at the school gate.
  • The spontaneous hug from her little girl as she read a bedtime story.
  • The satisfaction of hearing good comments from her teachers.
  • The simple fact of enjoying a hot cup of coffee in the quiet of her kitchen at night and seeing her running around the house as if she had rechargeable batteries.
Ale knew she wasn't perfect, that sometimes she made mistakes and felt frustrated.
But she also knew she was a strong, feisty, loving mother.
She didn't need a special day to celebrate. Every day was Mother's Day, because every moment with her daughter was a priceless gift.

In those small moments of happiness, she found the strength to move forward, to face challenges and show her children how much she loved them.
Because being a mother was not just a job, it was a way of life, an unconditional dedication, a love that transcended any barrier.
And although at times she was overcome by fatigue, she knew that every sacrifice was worth it. In her daughter she saw the reflection of her effort, the hope for a better future, the reason why she woke up every day with a smile, ready to give her all.
Because being a mother was the most beautiful adventure, the most rewarding challenge, the purest love that could exist.

Thank you @cautiva-30 for being part of this wonderful week.
