Easter and more 7 VIDAS cask wonders 🍻 [ENG-ESP]
Hello Everybody, today I'm back over here with a couple of beers from 7 VIDAS, which is a Peruvian brewery that is definitely on top of my list of awesomeness. Previously I talked about a few of their beers, and now I will give closure to the collection of cask aged beers by them by presenting two delicious beers, that were fitting for this Easter weekend.
German Pilsner" Aged in french red wine casks for a whole year, this beer evolved with wooden notes and fruity notes. With nice white foam retention, an opaque amber color, and a fermented fruit aftertaste that is very well rounded. Definitely is not a beer for everybody with a not too strong alcoholic sensation.
"Oud Bruin" with a Belgian style, it was aged in french wine casks for three years, Cabernet Sauvignon if I'm not mistaken. This beer gets to 6.5 alcoholic degrees, with a brown tinted amber color and moderate foam retention. Nose sensation is more complex and intense with fruity notes, such as raisin, dates, plums. In mouth the sensation is more like malt, even lactose and fruity, with medium acidic and sweet notes. The aftertaste is rather sweet and pleasant. Very balanced, a very well accomplished for a beer made in Peru.
And of course we had to get the mandatory chocolate bunny, and it sweetness sealed the deal.
This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite @aliciarodriguez to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
