Semana 286 del Concurso de Arte de Splinterlands: Fire Elemental

Hola a todos, hoy les traigo una ilustración del personaje del juego Splinterland, el Elemental de Fuego. Este dibujo lo hice de manera muy diferente a la referencia del personaje, ya que fui mejorándolo poco a poco hasta obtener un resultado único y distinto.

El Elemental de Fuego, como su nombre lo indica, es una criatura elemental relacionada con el fuego. Sin embargo, en mi ilustración decidí darle un giro y convertirla en una figura más parecida a una princesa o reina del fuego. Aunque se aparta un poco de la referencia original, espero que les guste esta versión única y personalizada del Elemental de Fuego.

Hello everyone, today I bring you an illustration of the character of the game Splinterland, the Fire Elemental. I made this drawing in a very different way from the reference of the character, since I improved it little by little until I got a unique and different result.
The Fire Elemental, as its name suggests, is an elemental creature related to fire. However, in my illustration I decided to give it a twist and turn it into a figure more akin to a fire princess or queen. Although it deviates a bit from the original reference, I hope you like this unique and personalized version of the Fire Elemental.

Inicio / Start:

Comencé a hacer la estructura del cuerpo del personaje con un color azul para diferenciarla de color rojo que usaré el boceto, En una nueva capa empecé a hacer el boceto.

I started to make the body structure of the character with a blue color to differentiate it from the red color that I will use for the sketch, In a new layer I started to make the sketch.

Luego de terminar el boceto, comencé a hacer el Lineart o delineado con un color negro en una nueva capa. Después de finalizar el Lineart continúe haciendo efectos de fuego en partes especificas como las manos.

After finishing the sketch, I started to do the lineart or outline with a black color in a new layer. After finishing the lineart I continued doing fire effects in specific parts such as the hands.

Seguí haciendo el fuego, dándole mas detalles y efectos. Para esto use diferentes tonos de naranja, tuve que usar un naranja oscuro tirando a marrón para los contornos y naranja claro cerca de ser amarillo.

I continued making the fire, giving it more details and effects. For this I used different shades of orange, I had to use a dark orange, close to brown for the outlines and light orange close to yellow.

Ya que terminé de hacer el Lineart le di a todo la ilustración una capa de diferentes tonos de grises para mas adelante darle luces, sombras y detalles. Después de darle una capa de de grises al dibujo, continúe dándole luces con un gris un poco mas claro que el gris base. También le agregué sombras a la ilustración con un gris mas oscuro que el base para darle profundidad y tridimensionalidad a la ilustración.

Once I finished making the lineart I gave the whole illustration a layer of different shades of gray to later give it lights, shadows and details. After giving a layer of grays to the drawing, I continued giving it lights with a gray a little lighter than the base gray. I also added shadows to the illustration with a darker gray than the base to give depth and three-dimensionality to the illustration.

Después de terminar de darle todas las sombras, luces y detalles al personaje, le di color a toda la ilustración pero sin darle color a los ojos ya que les daré color mas adelante. Después de eso le hice un aro de fuego encima de su cabeza y le puse los mismos detalles que le puse al fuego anterior.

After I finished giving all the shadows, lights and details to the character, I gave color to the whole illustration but without giving color to the eyes since I will give color to them later. After that I made a fire ring on top of his head and put the same details that I put on the previous fire.

Ahora haré los ojos, para los ojos usé un color rojo intenso y fui subiendo y bajando la tonalidad de la misma para darle color. Usé un rojo muy oscuro para contornear la el iris y también con el mismo color hice la pupila.

Now I will do the eyes, for the eyes I used an intense red color and I went up and down the tone of it to give it color. I used a very dark red to outline the iris and also with the same color I made the pupil.

Después de eso como ultimo paso decidí hacerle un fondo oscuro a la ilustración. No lo quería hacer tan simple así que hice un degradado al fondo para que quedara mejor.

After that as a last step I decided to make a dark background to the illustration. I didn't want to make it so simple so I made a gradient to the background to make it look better.
