Amidakuji for September 2023・2023年9月の阿弥陀くじ
A few weeks ago I did an amidakuji contest on my HPUD post. I realize a lot of people skip HPUD posts so I wanted to add some fun. But even with that, most people still skipped the post. Oh well... I tried. So I thought I'd make it into a separate post.
As I talked about here I've been thinking about bringing this game back to Hive for awhile. Those of you who have been on Hive for several years may remember the contest. I think once a month might be fun to run it.
In today's post we'll look at the winners of the last contest and then we'll do the next.
To ensure it's the thumbnail of this post, we'll start with the new contest.
Pick a letter, any letter and leave a comment with your choice. If it connects with the 😄 at the bottom, you win! The winning amount will be whatever this post makes in HBD converted to HSBI. If multiple people pick the winning line, I'll increase the amount of HSBI so that it divides evenly.
A reblog is not required, but would be appreciated. Please spread the word so we can get more entries.

I don't see many higanbana in my neighborhood. For a long time, my mother used to say that these flowers were kind of scary, and maybe that's why I thought so too. But they are still beautiful flowers. I sometimes see pink higanbana, which is also nice.
By the way, thank you for the HIVE to create a Japanese community. I have created both community and community account. I will let you know when it opens🙂
I haven't seen many this year yet. The photo is from years ago. They are kind of scary when you think about the mythology of them being in the afterlife. So I definitely see that point of view. But they are also very beautiful, I think, so I am always taking photos of them when I see them.

These look very different underneath than I was expecting! I was thinking they would be a tangle of lines, with only one line that leads all the way from the top to the destination. Of course, if I'd read the post you'd linked to, I would've known better. But most days I'm lucky to get on here and read anything. 😆 Anyhoo, I'm following you now and I'll try to get back here to read more of your posts. The ones about Asian coins are particularly interesting...
