My mum, my best friend. (LOH #179)

Thank you ladies of hive for the opportunity to share my experience with my mum with you. It's indeed a good timing, considering my mum just celebrated her birthday some days back. I'm really greatful for this chance to talk about her.

I would say that every moment with my mum is memorable.
I could go back as far as I can remember, when I was little, I fell sick a lot and it always made my mum worried. I can remember the numerous times when I won't be able to eat, and the way she would hold me and pray for me to get well and regain my appetite. Those times when I would have to be admitted in the hospital and she would have to sit awake all night despite the mosquitoes just to watch me.

There are indeed a lot of things my mum has done for me that I'm so grateful for.

Growing up as a girl, I needed my mum by my side and of course she was always there to teach and advice me. Even though she had to keep up with work, she still made sure she had time for me and my siblings.

I know sometimes I get her angry (which I'm sorry about 🥺) but that still doesn't make her love me less. I really wonder how, but it seems that a mother's love can't be compared to anything else. She's my role model and I would love to emulate her to my future kids too.

Words won't be able to describe how much I love my mum, I may not have been able to express it to her yet but God knows I love her so much and I'm grateful to her for everything she has done for me. She has been a great mum and best friend to me and I would never trade her for anything in the world.

Something I learn from my mum that she didn't reach me
Happiness is free, always make yourself happy even if everything isn't going the way you want it.
I have noticed for long that my mum doesn't give anyone the chance to ruin her mood, if something wants to make her unhappy, she gets herself occupied with a funny tv drama or does any other activities to keep her mood alive. She made me realize that no one can make you unhappy without your permission.
