A trait I appreciates/ Loh contest #233

Hello Ladies, I so much love this week's topic.

I so much admire people that exhibits this trait self-confidence, they are always confident in themselves and in their abilities to do things. They are always sure and certain to do things the right way. They are bold and gutsy. They are not afraid to say their mind or opinion anytime or anywhere. I know of a young man that can stand among a large crowd and ask a question without shivering. He is always bold, he can't stay in a gathering without making any attempts to participate in the program.

Personally I lack this quality, on many occasions I see myself shying away from the things I knew I can do very well. The problem isn't not knowing what to say or do, but I always hesitate or will I say lose the confidence to do them. Let me cite one instance; I might be in a meeting or in a gathering and a question will be asked, within me I know the answer but to raise my hand immediately and answer the question I will see myself feeling reluctant. Some thoughts will then be going round in my head, thoughts like "Is this the right answer?", "what if I say it and is not correct?","maybe I should just keep quiet and listen to others", these and other thoughts will just be battling in my head until someone else answers the questions and boom! that's exactly what I wanted to say.

I have made lots of efforts to embrace self-confidence but it has not been easy, though lately I have observed some little changes. I eventually did some things I felt might not yield results if I do them and honestly they did yield results after doing them. This topic have motivated me more to be certain and more confident about myself. Thank you @amberkashif for bringing this week's topic. Thank you ladies for reading to this point.
