BCBP Bogo Chapter Hosted  a Regional Breakfast Fellowship and Assembly for the First Time

Breakfast fellowship and prayer assembly are some of the activities that BCBP members must attend. In this activity, the participants can meet and greet old and new members and can hear a life story with God's presence in their lives from a couple of sharers. During assembly, everyone will praise and worship our almighty Father, hear messages from the Lord, and share life experiences from the sharer. My husband and I loved to join this activity for we learned, inspired, and motivated upon listening to the life story or experience being shared.

Last November 30, the BCBP Bogo Chapter hosted the Regional Breakfast Fellowship and Prayer Assembly for the first time. It was one of the biggest events in the history of the Bogo Chapter with almost 250 participants coming from various chapters in the northern Cebu Region. The event was held at Maria Lina Catering, Bogo City, Cebu from 7:30 am to 11:30 in the afternoon. Before the said event, the Bogo chapter had a thorough preparation to make the event successful and meaningful. The governance team had careful planning in organizing the event. The team created various committees and assigned each member to different committees to perform various tasks before, during, and after the event. We also had our practice every Saturday until the day of the event of various songs to be sung on the simultaneous activity.

On the day of the event, we went to the venue very early. My husband was assigned physical arrangements while I was assigned as greeters and music ministry. There were a lot of participants coming from West Mandawe, Talisay, Talamban, Balamban, and the Consolation Chapter. Since there was already a pre-registration, the registration on the day of the went smoothly. After the registration, when the food was ready was breakfast. There were 8 menus served with fresh fruits and fresh vegetables donated by one of our co-members.

After having our breakfast, at exactly 8:00 am we started our breakfast fellowship with a theme coming from the Bible scripture "Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" We were inspired by a couple of sharers who shared their life stories of how God intervened in their lives in times of challenges. With their life sharing, we strengthened our Faith in God and he is an amazing God.

After our breakfast fellowship, we had our prayer assembly. Some members shared the message of the Lord. Some also shared their life experiences as proof that God is always there for us when we seek his guidance and mercy. We were touched by one sharer who shared about his skin problem operation journey. It was very successful with God's grace and divine intervention.

After the assembly, I had a photo opportunity with some of my co-members. The activity was successful. Some other chapters proceeded to San Remigio beaches for their family outing since it was also a holiday. I'm so grateful that I was able to serve the community and attend the event.
