Concurso TBT: Viaje a Caripe, un día inolvidable / TBT Contest: Trip to Caripe, an unforgettable day.

Uno de los eventos más destacados del año pasado fue, sin duda, el viaje a Caripe con el grupo de Hive Monagas. En ese tiempo el grupo se encontraba muy activo en la organización de eventos y este en particular me llamó la atención porque hacía muchos años que no visitaba Caripe, un pueblo conocido por su gran atractivo turístico.

One of the most notable events of last year was, without a doubt, the trip to Caripe with the Hive Monagas group. At that time the group was very active in organizing events and this one in particular caught my attention because it had been many years since I had visited Caripe, a town known for its great tourist attraction.

Caripe destaca por su extensa vegetación y su peculiar clima, notablemente más frío que el resto del estado Monagas, esto lo convierte en un destino ideal para quienes buscan experimentar un cambio de temperatura sin salir demasiado lejos de la ciudad.

Salimos en autobús muy temprano por la mañana, afortunadamente, el conductor fue muy amable durante el viaje y se detenía en cada sitio interesante para que pudiéramos tomar fotos y explorar un poco por lo que tanto el viaje de ida como el de regreso fueron bastante agradables. Al llegar a Caripe nuestro primer punto de visita fue la icónica Cueva del Guácharo, por suerte, llegamos temprano y pudimos disfrutar del lugar cuando el clima estaba fresco y había pocos turistas.

We left by bus very early in the morning, fortunately the driver was very friendly during the trip and stopped at each interesting place so we could take photos and explore a little so both the trip there and back were quite pleasant . Upon arriving in Caripe, our first point of visit was the iconic Cueva del Guácharo. Luckily, we arrived early and were able to enjoy the place when the weather was cool and there were few tourists.

Luego, nos dirigimos al Salto La Paila, una caída de agua escondida entre un denso bosque repleto de una gran variedad vegetal y una humedad intensa, el camino fue un poco difícil debido al piso resbaloso y por lo inclinado de la ruta, pero llegar y contemplar esa caída imponente de agua formando un río valió completamente la pena.

Then, we headed to Salto La Paila, a waterfall hidden among a dense forest full of a great variety of plants and intense humidity. The path was a little difficult due to the slippery floor and the steepness of the route, but we arrived and Watching that imposing fall of water forming a river was completely worth it.

Cuando regresamos al punto de encuentro mi novia y yo aprovechamos para visitar los alrededores de la cueva y disfrutar de unas fresas con crema mientras esperábamos al resto del grupo para retornar a la ciudad. Fue un día lleno de emociones intensas y sin duda una experiencia increíble que siempre quedará grabada en mis recuerdos.

When we returned to the meeting point, my girlfriend and I took the opportunity to visit the surroundings of the cave and enjoy some strawberries and cream while we waited for the rest of the group to return to the city. It was a day full of intense emotions and without a doubt an incredible experience that will always be etched in my memories.
