ASEAN Hive Community Challenge Week#140 🥅Goals For 2025 👨‍💻 | I Am Positive That The Year 2025 Will Be A Rose Colored Glass Journey And Fruitful

Greetings, wonderful #Hiveians and #aseanhive community! It's been a while, but I'm back! 😊 I sincerely hope that everyone is in the pink of health and enjoying their day. I'm relieved that my bout of vertigo is over.

  • A Rundown Of 2024 Life's Journey

The year 2024 is a mixture of struggles, pains, and challenges for me and my family. The battles we face are often intense times of weakness, distress, and confusion but God is no less with us during difficulties than at other times. As one article I have read before: "Live life more abundantly — that we might become more fruitful". I have discovered that when I lose that attitude of thanksgiving and gratefulness, I have gone back into the flesh somehow. Acts of selfishness begin to manifest in me. Rather than being content with all things, I begin to find a lack in my life. I also begin to try to fulfill that lack by trying to manipulate circumstances and people to fulfill those needs rather than going to God for them and waiting on Him to supply all my needs according to His riches and glory. Grumbling and fault-finding increase. God has not promised to deliver us from suffering but to make us fruitful in a way that will not destroy us as a person. All of us will pass through valleys of struggles to reach our goal in God.

I was preoccupied with my grief for my son's loss when the owner of the company, our Chief Executive Officer (my son's medical and financial sponsor) asked me to continue my job as her ghostwriter in their family publishing company. I told her that I was very grateful that she offered me to continue to work for her. I am just scribbling in fragments on what and how I felt the moment when I started as her ghostwriter—though I am writing articles on this platform — #HIVE, but I am not that confident because article writing in a magazine is somewhat nerve-racking, job-draining, and brain-draining to get a brilliant topic for the quarterly, sometimes seasonal issue.

Eventually, the CEO appointed me as assistant editor under her. I was so hesitant at first for I did not know what to do, but, thanks to her, she and her team guided me through my first few months in publishing. Untiringly devoted their time to teaching me to apply the techniques they knew. As months passed by, I improved, and I had other mentors who helped me with editing and taught me how to use other tools, inspired me with their writing, and also pushed me not to give up. These people are of great help and advisers to me and the rest of the team as well. I am grateful that I have met them. I have honed my writing and found other helpful tips from them. I am so grateful to my mentors in the company. I am also grateful to my Chief Operating Officer, who supported me as I became his private online shopper. Though he is somewhat impish, I love his generosity and thoughtfulness. 😊 My road to continuous development and success is more fruitful as they are ready to help and appreciate what I am doing.

God is so good! I have achieved my goals (though not all of them yet) because He guided me. He gave me the people that will help me with my craft. He is my stronghold at all times. I gather my strength from Him. My daughter and grandson are my inspirations. Come high and low waters, I will always be grateful for everything that God has given to me.

  • My Goals For 2025
  1. I am a silver-haired woman at 62, and I have decided to change my sleeping habits. Having a nap for an hour and a half between noon and 3 pm to relieve stress, look younger, and not age easily (to keep wrinkles away! - hahaha). Instead of three to four hours of sleep, I will follow my doctor's advice to sleep at least eight hours a day so that he will not nag me every time he checks on me. 😊 The best sleeping times, according to him, are between 9 pm and 6 am.
  2. Resume my meditation, dancing, and swimming as my routine exercise. Meditation, dancing, or a few laps in our neighbour's resort three times a week feels great and helps to lift my spirits. Meditation and dancing every morning after waking up to perk up my day is a good start. Swimming makes me feel purified since no cold water would get in the way of a fish out of water. 😘 It gives me a good sensation to be in the water. Walking while enjoying fresh air or simple stretching helps me prevent back pains and leg cramps. Laughing and smiling are healthier than frowning.😊
  3. Eating more healthy foods like green leafy vegetables and fruits. Salad vegetables are the best, mixing them with vinegar and lemon and avoiding seasoned foods. Drinking more fresh fruit juices like apple carrot or strawberry is more like it than preserving juices in cans. Lessening oils and fats to avoid problems with my lone kidney and acid reflux.
  4. Crafting more designs for shirts, pants, bags, caps, and more for my hobby of fabric painting. One of my goals is to design and create various floral calligraphy and fresh blossom artwork for picture frame printing and sell them online. As an aging woman, I want to devote my time to something that will benefit my daughter and grandson's schooling while also making me feel valuable.
  5. Heading back to Davao, my hometown, is an overdue plan due to some unavoidable circumstances, but this year is the best time to realize my plan to have a healthy environment and peaceful living.

I am sure that the goals that I am aiming for this year, 2025, will continuously pour out and overflow.

How about you guys, what are your goals for this year 2025? Share it with us and let's exchange notes.💖

I am thrilled about heading toward this amazing avenue with all of you! Thank you for fetching around my blog and checking out the post. Catch you on my next blog.

Namaste,

I love this easy to reach goals but are sometimes hardest to attain. Specially the sleeping early part! It's hard when you're a nocturnal person and that's when your mind is filled with many ideas and just don't want to turn off. Good thing you have the best way to attack this and that is meditation, swimming and eating healthy so that your mind will start to calm and lay low in the evenings.
You have planted good seeds ate that's why people are good, kind and understanding to what you have gone through.
We all need such wonderful people or angels in our lives.your Angel up in heaven is always guiding you and wants you to be happy.

Cheers to your 2025 goals! All the best for you always ate.🍻🥂♥️

Hello dear. Sorry if I wasn't able to visit your posts. The last quarter was toxic in the company. We have meetings for almost 24 hours. Hmmm... I'm also a nocturnal person but it changed 360 degrees. Mom and my buddy (si doc) always nag due to my sleeping habits. I was ordered to sleep on time like I used to do before. Sleeping at least 7-8 hours a day and taking a siesta at least an hour and a half. 😊 He checks on me now and then. Oh yes, he even reminded me of my exercises every day. We even exercise together through video calls, pasaway!🤣🤣🤣

I am grateful that there are friends and love ones who are concerns of my well being. You are right, I have a guardian angel out there. I know he is now busy playing in the Lord's garden which he wasn't able to do here.

I am looking forward to heading back to my hometown this year to be with my daughter and "makulit" na grandson.🤭

Thank you so much dear @aideleijoie wishing you all the best too.💕🌷🙏🕊️
