Whenever Valentine's Day comes around, memories come to mind of my time with my husband, now resting in the realm of memories.Emotions fluctuate between longing and gratitude for the moments shared in our love story. These memories become little mental movies, projecting scenes of complicity, laughter and gestures of affection. Every rose given, every word of affection whispered, becomes an echo of the vows and promises we made on our journey together. The physical absence is heartbreaking, but the memories are like a bridge linking the present to the past. On this day, I find solace in the celebration of what was, despite the sadness of what is no more. The table where we share romantic dinners becomes an altar of reminiscences of our eternal love. Valentine's Day becomes a tribute to the strength of our bond, which persists even beyond physical separation.

Siempre que llega el Día de San Valentín, vienen a mi mente los recuerdos vividos con mi esposo, que ahora descansa en el reino de los recuerdos. Las emociones fluctúan entre la añoranza y la gratitud, por los momentos compartidos en nuestra historia de amor, estos recuerdos se convierten en pequeñas películas mentales, proyectando escenas de complicidad, risas y gestos de cariño. Cada rosa entregada, cada palabra de afecto susurrada, se vuelve un eco de los votos y promesas que hicimos en nuestro viaje juntos. La ausencia física es desgarradora, pero los recuerdos son como un puente que une el presente con el pasado. En este día, encuentro consuelo en la celebración de lo que fue, a pesar de la tristeza de lo que ya no es. La mesa donde compartimos cenas románticas se convierte en un altar de reminiscencias de nuestro amor eterno. El Día de San Valentín se convierte en un homenaje a la fortaleza de nuestro vínculo, que persiste incluso más allá de la separación física.

Tears flow, but so does gratitude for having experienced such a profound love. Even as life takes its course, my husband remains an integral part of my story, and this day becomes an opportunity to honor his memory and recognize what a blessing it was to share life with someone so extraordinary.

Las lágrimas fluyen, pero también lo hace la gratitud por haber experimentado un amor tan profundo. Aunque la vida siga su curso, mi esposo sigue siendo una parte integral de mi historia, y este día se convierte en una oportunidad para honrar su memoria y reconocer la bendición que fue compartir la vida con alguien tan extraordinario.

Now I celebrate this day with my son and my loved ones with the pleasure of sharing love and friendship.We do it by preparing and enjoying a homemade and affectionate meal, as well as a present to remember.

Ahora este día lo celebro junto a mi hijo y mis seres queridos acosijados con el placer de compartir el amor y amistad. Lo hacemos preparando y disfrutando de una comida casera y afectuosa, además de un presente para recordar.
