Hello, friends! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today I am joining the weekly "Watch, Think, Write" contest. I don't have exact words to describe my mother; I get a lump in my throat and tears run down my face when I say "mom". Who over the years guided us, guiding us to be better human beings, thank you, God that you gave me the best mother in the world. I counted on a strong, brave woman, with a giant spirit and infinite humility, empathetic, sweet, kind, intelligent, responsible, tolerant, resilient, committed to improve daily and achieve a better place where we could all be and live better. Her most unconditional love. And these adjectives fall short; I would never finish mentioning all the wonderful things this woman of infinite magic was. I had the joy and privilege of calling her MOM.

¡Hola, amigos! Espero que estén teniendo un día maravilloso. Hoy me uno al concurso semanal "Observa, Piensa, Escribe". No tengo palabras exactas para describir a mi madre; se me hace un nudo en la garganta y mis lágrimas corren por mi cara al pronunciar "mamá". Quien en el transcurrir de los años nos guio, orientándonos para que fuéramos mejores seres humanos, gracias, Dios que me diste a la mejor madre del mundo. Conté con una mujer fuerte, valiente, de espíritu gigante y de humildad infinita, empática, dulce, bondadosa, inteligente, responsable, tolerante, resistente, comprometida para mejorar a diario y lograr un mejor lugar en el que todos pudiéramos estar y vivir mejor. Su amor más incondicional. Y estos calificativos se quedan cortos; nunca acabaría en mencionar todo lo maravilloso que fue esta mujer de magia infinita. Yo tuve la dicha y el privilegio de llamarla MAMÁ.

Every day was special with my mother, but the most special day was her birthday on October 9th, we are 9 siblings and that day we celebrated mom's life in an extraordinary way, we even brought mariachis, we took her to see her favorite singer Reinaldo Armas, we bought everything we needed to celebrate with everything. Since we didn't know what her last celebration would be, we made every effort to make sure that every moment counted, especially her birthday. Her last birthday celebration was on October 9, 2015, when she turned 85 years old. I thank God for having had her for so many years, although I would have liked it to last longer. Every moment shared with her on that day and every day remained engraved in my heart.

Todos los días eran especiales al lado de mi madre, pero el día super especial era el de su cumpleaños el 9 de octubre, nosotros somos 9 hermanos y ese día celebrábamos la vida de mamá de una manera extraordinaria por todo lo grande, incluso, traíamos mariachis, la llevábamos a ver a su cantante preferido de ella Reinaldo Armas, comprábamos todo lo necesario para festejar con todo. Ya que no sabíamos cuál era su última celebración, por tal motivo nos esmerábamos porque cada momento contaba y más su día de nacimiento. Su última celebración de cumpleaños fue el 9 de octubre del año 2015, cuando cumplió 85 años. Agradezco a Dios por haberla tenido tantos años, aunque me hubiera gustado que durará más tiempo. Cada momento compartido con ella en ese día y todos los días quedaron grabados en mi corazón.
