Shadows in Berlin - Photo Challenge
Hello guys how have you been, I have returned to this beautiful photo community again after so long to participate in the weekly shadow hunter challenge in which you can participate with your best game photos.
To begin this shadow hunt I have been transported to the past to be more specific in the Second World War when the cities of Berlin were invaded by the Nazis; however, for a city in full swing by the war also has breathtaking views and shadows that fill its crumbling streets.
By the way, my first photograph with shadows was taken while I was hiding in a house trying to flank a sniper at more than three hundred meters. Actually, there were two snipers who were marking me, but I already had the first one in my sights, so I pulled the trigger and these impressive pictures came out. Here I captured this accurate shot I made at my enemy, which left his shadow marked where he was lying. The same happened with the next sniper, this way he could pass unnoticed through the streets and with more tranquility he would be able to capture shadows. Then the soldiers in the center of the bridge were waiting for me, so I shot a few of them, and since they were in full sunlight, their shadows are perfectly marked on the ground. Now the alleys were a bit lonely and in total silence, which made me more uncomfortable, as I didn't know at what time or place I would be ambushed. And taking advantage of every corner, I managed to capture some shadows. As a clear example, I have this one which caught my attention, because the grids of these cities are usually complex in terms of design. As I had imagined, other soldiers in the center of the bridge were waiting for me, so I had to shoot them down. Despite so much destruction, there were interesting things to capture, such as an old car on the cliff where I stopped for a moment to take cover from the snipers from the watchtowers. Now, leaving aside the center of the city, I went into a destroyed house and not having the roof logically the sun's rays sneak in forming a few leftovers of the structure. At the moment this is my favorite photo of this adventure, as I managed to capture my own leftover on the wall, however, the special thing here is the angle I used in the next shot below. I was supposed to love this picture because I managed to play with the perspective and the angle of the window that produced a warm and soft tone to my shadow. Even in this photo, in addition to the shadow on the wall, you can also see some dust particles flying aimlessly from where the sun's brightness is coming from. At that precise moment, it gave me a sense of peace. Now I show you only the shadow of the window. For a more natural photograph I used the shadows of some trees that were on the sidewalks of the streets, however, with this photo I say goodbye, because my mission is to blow up the bridge, but I'll leave that for a next post that may try to photograph explosions or something like that hahaha. I thank you for reading me after such a long time of inactivity, however, I'm back, and I will try to be more active than ever with you, because I really love these themes, good luck to all participants. |
