Dreemport August Challenge ~ Scholar and Scribe

This month we will be joining Scholar and Scribe for our August challenge. Scholar and Scribe have also graciously made it a bit more enticing by adding a prize pool for each week.

As we all know Scholar & Scribe is a creative writing community which welcomes a myriad of prose and poetry. This challenge will be rather straightforward and we hope everyone joins us in flexing their creativity!

For the next 3 weeks of August the core theme will be:

~ Late Days of Summer ~

That means that each weeks entry should in some form relate to the core theme, and each week will direct you further with a specific prompt (topic).

The first week of our Scholar & Scribe challenge will have the prompt of:

~ Beach Adventure ~

So for Week 1 of the challenge the prompt is BEACH ADVENTURE and the theme is LATE DAYS of SUMMER.

For this challenge's entries , you may write your posts anytime but entries will only be accepted on THURSDAY of each week.

That means for this first week entries can only be submitted to Dreemport on THURSDAY the 8th of August.

As mentioned Scholar & Scribe have graciously offered up a prize pool of 10 HIVE per week split

  • 5 Hive for 1st
  • 3 Hive for 2nd
  • 2 Hive for 3rd
    alongside other tokens.

The decision will be made by the admin of Scholar and Scribe from the TOP 5 shortlisted entries on Dreemport.

For me it is a pleasure to join a new community and share in this writing adventure. The adventures of the beach and summer are an excellent combination of ideas for this challenge.
