RE: What Makes You Sad?

Such a familiar story to me too, my parents didn't really like either of my two wives. In fact, things were so bad between them and my second wife, that I got married in secret and didn't tell my parents at all! Only when my 2nd wife got drunk and couldn't bother either their abuse anymore that she shared our secret to upset them more. That was the beginning of the end of my 2nd marriage. That makes me sad too, that my parents just couldn't be supportive when I was happy.

On the bright side, I've never owned a home, I don't have kids and didn't need a lawyer for either of my divorces. No half this, half that nonsense. We talked it out and came up with a plan that worked well for both of us. Thank goodness both of the marriages ended on amicable terms.
