What love is pure and true?
The echoes of her sweetness sticks within my spine
The vibrance of her embrace last for a lifetime
Her love so costly than the finest of pearls

I was but a babe, tender and frail
Her strong arms surrounds me like the walls of Babylon
Her sacrifices my altar of refuge
And her smiles my banner of hope

Oh woman thou art praise
At the gate of honor is your name imprinted
Loudly is your praises sang
At the seat of kings is your table prepared.

She is my mother, the woman I first loved
The eyes I first beyond at my birth
The one who held me for months connected by blood
She is priceless as life and beautiful like the lilies

Her smell is like the cedar tree that spread wide
Her love is contagious, more sticker than an expensive perfume
The world is beautiful because of her kind and through them we have learned what love entails
Sacrifice, selflessness, courage, and wisdom.

Everyday I bless God for a priceless gift of a mother
Whose worth is above ruby.
