My IT Moment
IT moment is a moment you've had the best experience in what you've accomplished. To be honest, I have had several IT moments and I'm often proud of myself whenever my mind flashes back to all I have been able to accomplish over the years. Daily we are expected to grow and this is what makes life interesting at one point, when we realize our effort has been productive and there is visible evidence of hard work, commitment and persistence.
In my early school days, I happened to be a Dullard in mathematics. The fact that I wasn't the only one made it comforting, and I was more relaxed when I was sure I wasn't the worst. I was good in other subjects, but math seemed to be difficult when it was required of me to find an X and Y. I didn't know which magic the mathematics teacher always did to arrive at a convincing answer but I always believed the examples were more simple than the class work and assignments. However, I graduated from my primary and junior secondary having an A in mathematics, but deep within me, I knew I wasn't knowledgeable in math. If I close the book, I go off the lane.
This became evident when I transferred to a different school. I can't remember the number of zeros I scored, we knew what our scores were before it arrived, but the shocking part was that people still believed I was knowledgeable in the same mathematics I was recording zeros in. I knew I only needed some time and maybe, I'll get a grasp of the secret behind what mathematics is. I asked someone who was good in math to give me a few guides, he did and I took it upon myself to learn the other areas that I needed to upgrade on. So I absent myself from all classes and found an isolated place to study. I started my learning from the first page by following each guide gradually, Aureka! I discovered the secret after a week of thorough studies.
I wasn't sure what the result of my one week absence from class would be, but I believed my diligence and persistence to learn would pave the way for me. Gradually I started to understand the common basics in mathematics, it was then I realized mathematics was easier than other courses i have been doing very well with them.
After a week, I resumed class , no longer as the dullard in mathematics, but a transformed student who couldn't wait to show the world what he had become from the days of self grooming. It was our final exams, just like the previous times, no one believed another brilliant mathematic student would emerge, they knew our script and couldn't wait to laugh out loud each time the scripts were shared and our score mentioned. It was different in our final exams. The mathematics teacher held my script before the class and acquired who I was. I could hear chuckles behind me, they already guessed a zero, but probably a worse one this time, but they were shocked when our teacher said I got the highest. It was like a dream before the eyes of everyone. Just like a peacock, I felt my feathers flap out proudly and eversince mathematics had been a walk over subject for me

The examples are just building blocks for the classwork and assignments we were given. Truth is, maths isn't hard like it seems if you can sit with the basics and always practice solving qiestions.
I remember when I topped my class in Physics and Biology only because I wanted to prove to some ladies that I am not an average student, I only choose not to be so serious with my academics.
Hahaha. We can always do better if we choose to work harder
Yes, we can.
Maths is one subject that most students find difficult including me. It's even in the uni that I fell I love statistics.
You must have been really proud that day. Kudos for shocking your fellow students, it's not easy😅
Hahahaha. It wasn't easy, my days of sacrifice paid off
Many of us were in the group of maths dullard, hehe and the issue is that we never made effort to actually come out of that situation because we had concluded that its was not our thing, hehe.

Hahahaha. Maybe it was the high hopes that made me strive to pull out
That kind of moments could be a significant one in one's life. When the right cord is struck, mathematics is a very simple subject. However it could be the most difficult if there is a missing link in the learning process. You moved for being a poor Mathematics student to a proud mathematician. Lovely.

Realized this when I gave time to study the basic. It just requires that you have the right formula and a proper understanding of the question
I never loved mathematics in school too. Those pytagoras theorem, find X and y etc are what makes me dread the subject. It was when I got to the university that I realised Mathematics wasn't that hard, you just have to pay attention and take your time into studying the process.
You see, those teachers know how to give simple examples but when it comes to assignment or examination, they become so technical that you would wonder if we were taught at all. Lol

The exercises are often something else and the teachers avoid it by all means.
But truly mathematics is easy if one understands the formula and rules
That's right.
Misery loves company sha... You are happy other people were failing math too chai! 😂🤣😂
It's good to know you're not alone. It helps one enjoy the ride
Wickedness 😂🤣😂
😂😂😂
😂
I remember back then in Uni once we finish like this for difficult paper and i hear people complaining, I will be happy 😂🤣😂. I must surely contribute my own quota of how i didn't write anything. You will be shocked result go come out they are passing 😂🤣😂🤣
Hahahaha. Some students learned to complain even when they wrote well- a survival method for them.
Unfortunately your joy wasn't complete
Mischievous students 😂
