"This wouldn't be the end of our descendants, we are the 100, let's fight for the continuation of our existence, it's either we live or die but let it not be recorded that the 100 died as cowards" Muller, one of the trolls said , his voice gruffing.

It was a period when they were afraid of what's high, a season when the almond tree flourished , a time when the silver cord was loosened and the pitcher was broken at the fountain. They stared into the sky and say a prayer,

"Daku, gods of the trolls, Our golden bowl has been broken, we seek for refuge" They brittled, weakened and frail; they matched to the battlefield not sure of the fate that lay before them.

On the flourishing field were packs of hyenas. They had always been hunters, bred from birth to be warriors. They laughed collectively as if they were aware of the battle that awaits them. Lying on the field was a fallen buffalo gnashing as they devoured its flesh.

"What a shameful way to die" Muller mumbled as he lied in ambush. It was at that moment the thought of Raju flashed through his mind, Is it possible that he and the two other troll has been eaten he thought, "no, Raju was too smart to die like the helpless buffalo* he added, but he was concerned, it's been 40 days since Raju left. He was still lost in thought when a Hyena's laugh jerked him back to where he lay waiting. The hyena quickly ran to its pack as soon as it met eyes with Muller and went to alert the pack.

"Shit!" Muller muttered. This is my dead end he thought as he stood to fight all alone, "For the 100, he said as he defended himself". The hyena that had tried to pounce on Muller gnashed loudly, in pain it laughed as it fell heavily to the ground. Muller, surprised at the sudden turn, looked around and saw Raju. He knew Raju had taken the shot.

"The Hyena's are too much for us to defeat, in the end of this jungle are lions, we'll fight and lead the battle to the jungle then sneak away and allow the hyenas to the lions" Raju told them ,"Any pack left, we'll kill".

The trolls stood in guards, all armed with swords.

"For the 100" they said in unison as they launched an attack. Gongs of war sounded, soon the ground became bloody, streams of blood flowed on the fertile land. The trolls, though slow, their strength help them pounce on the small deadly beast. They formed a formation that allowed them face the hyenas while they fought

"Their jaws are their strength, don't let them grasp you, don't break formation" Raju kept reminding them.

They lure them gradually to the jungle as the battle becomes intense. The trolls formed four formations circling the hyenas side by side. On the floor lay fallen heroes, pierced by swords and arrows, and the deadly bites of the beasts. Just when they were in the jungle, the trolls dismissed and went to stir up the lions in their jungle, soon the hyenas in their pride attacked, devouring the hyenas and chasing them. The troll set ambush killing the ones that escaped.

At durk, the hyenas valley lay desolate and just 20 trolls standing.

"We've made it, we can build a home here and multiply, then go find more territory" Raju said amidst pain injured by the Hyenas. "It's time to fulfill the long told prophecy about the trolls".
