The air was filled with the scent of freshly cut woods and the sound of laughter and chatter. The sailors and shipbuilders beamed with pride, eager to show off their latest creation. Aladdin gazed from afar, it was the first time he was seeing a ship this large. As the crowd grew larger, the captain moved closer to the ship and addressed the crowd using a megaphone and regale to the onlookers the wonder it will bring back from far off lands.

The new ship was a symbol of hope to the community who were major traders. The possibility of shipping goods in and out of the land was a blessing to them. Soon the air was filled with applause as the captain told them the numerous advantages the ship would bring to its people. Their eyes filled with excitement as they asked questions about the ship. Some of the onlookers snapped Pictures and others moved closer to see the ship in a better view.

Tyla was a small town surrounded by waters. It was dominated by immigrants who were majorly traders, one of them was Aladdin, a young man in his early 40s. He stood afar with several thoughts wandering through his mind, the possibility that it may introduce a new demand. Silently he walked back home carrying the burden in his heart but didn't speak it to anyone else. And as the sun dipped below the waves, the crowd cheered and applauded knowing that the ship would soon set sail. Aladdin looked at the ship once more and nodded his head. He knew the man who had given this gift would someday manipulate the people for his greedy gain.

Trouble brewing ... a gift that large from the wrong man will indeed come with strings attached!

But before that someday when the man who gave the ship will think of manipulation. I hope the community benefits from it.

Ships were the transportation of people and goods, and they brought in a lot of revenue.

Everything comes with a price tag so do the unspoken thoughts Aladdin has to live with.

I understand Aladdin's fears. A ship that big in the wrong hands might end up bringing more trouble than gain.

Thank you for sharing.

Sometimes the introduction of one good open ways for another evil if greed comes in
