The VR experience: A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

It was Saturday morning, Maria thought of what to do for the weekend since it has been a busy week for her. Visiting a VR gaming center would be nice she thought as she remembered the discussion she had with Safiya during the week. Safiya had told her how real it can feel when connected with the metaverse and she was curious to find out. Safiya didn't hesitate to refer her to George, the VR game owner who had just opened his center across the street.

Maria observed the small space George had set up and wondered if she did have a good experience. After much thought she decided to try and told George the game she does prefer, reassuring herself not to be scared, "it's only a game" she mumbled under her breath.

Maria couldn't believe the fun she had trying to live in a world different from hers. She had selected a simple game and was calm all through the process as George stood closeby to hold her in case she got scared any moment.

She sat on the chair with her head high and her hands holding the steering. She played for 30 minutes after which George pulled out the device. She never thought it would be this fun and real. She promised George to be back the following week, but this time, she would go for something daring. George laughed , "Better be prepared" he said as he bid her farewell
