Bungee jumping and acrobatics from a different perspective.

Once again I join the Weekly Video Game Photography Contest - Theme: Creative Perspectives and if you want to know what it's all about, I invite you to stop by here and take a look. Taking advantage of the theme of angles and perspectives in video game photography, today I decided to do a little bungee jumping and acrobatics in an area with many jumps and cliffs.

And yes, as usual we will be walking through the wonderful lands of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, but with a small difference, which allows me to make invisible much of the user interface and thus show some cleaner screenshots. Let's start...

I chose bungee jumping because it allows me from the air to take pictures of the poses my character does during the quality. It's worth clarifying that although I refer to these jumps as bungee jumping, I won't actually be tied to any safety rope, so I hope I land well and that my armor doesn't take too much damage.

After the first jump I was not at all happy with the result and had to retry focusing the camera from another angle. Even so, I leave you the two attempts and you can judge which one was better.

Even though the second jump had gone better, I felt that something was still missing. I had to look for more height, more danger, better angles and more spectacular falls. Luckily, I remembered that during the route I had taken to photograph the buildings I had come across an area full of jump points and I headed there.

This new area had incredible potential. In the distance you could see several cliffs with more than one jump zone, I even saw one jump zone on top of another. So without a second thought I started trying them one after another. I must say that my favorite was definitely the one with the spring, as it allowed me to take a picture at the very moment my character enters the water.

Taking advantage of the fact that I was already in the water, I took off my armor and began to take a night dip to relax my body a little. The truth is that all that saving the world can get to cause wear and tear. 😆

After the dip it was time to continue the adventure. I continued to walk around the cliffs and kept jumping from every jumping point I saw. I was having so much fun that I didn't realize it was dawn and I was still bungee jumping.

I want to clarify that, although I was very focused on my jumps and acrobatics, I was also practicing a bit on taking pictures from the traditional point of view, since my goal is to make my screenshots look better and better.

And for now I say goodbye without thanking the Gaming Photography community and the whole team for bringing us these amazing weekly initiatives. The truth is that participating in this kind of contests have helped me to realize how much I miss when I play from the perspective of a gamer and not a photographer.
