Machines and Nature: Horizon Zero Dawn Wallpapers.

Living in a world where nature and machines coexist in harmony seems impossible to achieve, but in Horizon Zero Dawn we can witness this happening. Taking advantage of the Wallpaper Worth Pictures theme of the weekly contest, I decided to go through this new post-apocalyptic world dominated by huge war machines and bring you some incredible images that you can use as wallpaper.
As it could not be otherwise, the protagonists of the first images will be mechanical animals that make up the fauna of this beautiful game. In this case, I show you one of the most annoying creatures I have found, which, although lacking in size, makes up for it with agility and speed, accompanying a horde of other creatures that it controls.

In the meadows we can also find huge mechanical bulls, which will charge at any creature that gets too close to them. Even so, with a little stealth, we will be able to approach and observe how they behave in passive mode.

Even so, without a doubt, the most intimidating is this Thundering, mechanical tyrannosaurus with two machine guns and a rocket launcher on its back. Taking advantage of the photo mode, I bring you two versions: one in daylight and one in moonlight.

So that you can get an idea of how great these fights are, I share this screenshot of one of the fights I had in the company of some guards. I came out of the fight triumphant, but you will hear more about that soon.

If we talk about size, we must also mention other beings, which we will call platform and they are like some kind of extremely huge giraffes. These huge walkers can climb and access all the information of the map around them.

Another advantage of climbing on a walking platform is that you get a 360º view of the environment, allowing you to take beautiful pictures of the fauna and the relief.

These images were also taken from above a walk on the platform and I took advantage of the time change of the photo mode to show you how much the landscape changes when it is day and night.

Since I mention the night, I must tell you that night landscapes are beautiful, but much more beautiful is the sky illuminated by the moon and hundreds of my stars twinkling in the distance. Taking advantage of the night lighting, I took two shots in the dark. In one I filter the light through the treetops and in the other I use the moon's glow to illuminate the wings of a butterfly.

I've already shown you a lot of natural scenery, so now I'm going to show you some huge man-made buildings. And although I've only uncovered part of the map, I can show you Meridian Castle in all its splendor.

Being in the castle, I came across this scene where you can see several kites flying tied near a pagoda. This scene reminded me a lot of a landscape that can be found in WoW Pandaria.

At this point, many will wonder if I'm not going to show images where the protagonist appears, and the answer is yes. I always intended to show her, but I didn't want to give her the limelight until I start publishing content of the campaign in the community.

And that is why I will end with these three images of Aloy posing for the camera in different situations, showing that the photographic mode of this game gives us endless possibilities.

Horizon Zero Dawn's world is truly breathtaking and you got some stunning shots there. The contrast between nature and machines makes for some epic wallpapers for sure.
I am delighted with the game. The more I explore the map the more I am fascinated by the views and landscapes I find.
Yeah it looks like a nice one.
