Weapon Showcase in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Greetings friends of digital photography and video games. Taking advantage of the fact that the Weekly Community Contest has as its theme the Weapons Showcase I want to show you a little bit of all the weaponry I use in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
As a good pirate and member of the brotherhood, I carry a whole arsenal. While it's not as complete as it should be due to my short progress through the game's story, it's still deadly. My weapons are separated into groups ranging from melee weapons, firearms and assassin's gear. I also have another type of weapons which are those obtained in combat, which I can use, but I can't equip them forever.
I'll start by showing you the hidden blades, a signature weapon of the entire Assassin's Creed video game saga. This weapon consists of two hidden blades in my hands, triggered by a flick of my wrists, and are considered the perfect weapon to commit an assassination due to their discretion and ease of concealment. If you look closely, my hidden blades have both the brotherhood logo and the pirate logo.
Let me now show you the swords, weapons which do not do as much damage as a gun, but are undoubtedly the ones I have used the most during my adventure. Of the swords, the most outstanding thing is the variety that exists in terms of design and characteristics. Among them are the sabers and scimitars, for the great damage they do compared to short swords, and the so-called Spanish tizonas.
I also really like the fight scenes where, after blocking an attack, an assassination combo is performed. These combos are rarely repeated in a fight, so there are several of them and some of them are very bloody, as they include executions.
As I mentioned earlier, within the group of melee weapons or bladed weapons there are some weapons that belong to the fallen enemies and we can equip them immediately. Among the most outstanding are the short sabers of the officers and guards, and the axes of the artillery soldiers.
About the axes, I would like to say that this is the first time I took one in my hand and when doing so I noticed that it has Templar inscriptions, which reminded me a lot of the Nordic axes from Skyrim.
Now let's move on to the firearms or ranged weapons, which are made up of pistols and muskets. The pistols, as the game progresses, can be loaded with several, even having four on top, as shown in the character of Blackbeard. This quantity allows you to fire a greater number of shots, but at the cost of spending more time reloading.
These weapons are of the flintlock pistol type, like the sword, they show a great variety of shapes and characteristics. Among the most notable are the officer's pistols, which are adorned with beautiful metallic engravings. Still, don't be fooled by all their ornamentation, as they are extremely lethal, but very loud weapons, which makes them unsuitable for assassination and stealth missions.
Within the group of firearms we also have the long muskets, which we can get from the guards that are on towers and rooftops, although they are also found in some nearby armories or inside the forts. These rifles have a higher damage and range than the pistols, but we can only use them for brief moments in combat, as we cannot keep them.
Last but not least, I left the assassin tools and, although hidden blades are part of the assassin set, I think that in this category the blowgun has to be mentioned. The blowgun is one of the most versatile weapons I have found in the game. Using the somniferous and narcotic darts I can not only assassinate with it, but it can also be used to put opponents to sleep and drive them insane. Of the blowgun I know only one, and this one is of aboriginal appearance, adorned with engravings and feathers.
So versatile is this weapon that I used it to make much of the publication, as it helped me reduce the number of enemies in the area and I was also able to eliminate a guard from the rooftops to steal his musket.
And so, roughly speaking, these are the weapons that I use the most in missions, whether as a pirate or as an assassin. For now I say goodbye and soon we will meet again to show you more of my adventures in the Caribbean Sea.
Thank you very much for reading my post. If you liked it, please leave a comment and consider following me so you don't miss my next posts. I'd love to know your opinion and your thoughts about the topic I discussed in this post, see you in the next one!

You look very cool and the emblematic weapons are very cool.
The best thing is that I have gathered a lot with the side quests and it can improve them.
That's fantastic, my friend
Excellent display of weapons, they match your character perfectly, especially the glove, that weapon is deadly, for me it was painful to see the stabbing in the spine

I also wanted to show the hook with the rope that is used to hang enemies but I haven't unlocked it yet 😔
Don't worry, you can always share it at any time
