Some of the beautiful cinematic view from Ghost of Tsushima.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my post.

  • In this post, I’ll share some of my favorite pictures from the game I’ve played recently.

  • Don't forget to participate in the contest held in the Gaming Photography community. The theme of this week is Cinematic Shots.

Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Cinematic Shots.

  • I would like to share some of my captures from the game Ghost of Tsushima. The graphics of Ghost of Tsushima are stunning. The game features a beautifully crafted open world with breathtaking landscapes, detailed character models, and impressive lighting effects.

The location was at the top of a mountain in Kechi Forest. Sakai went to see some locals. Their village has been seized by the Mongols, so they retreat here on the hilltop.

These two photos were taken at the same place but from different angles. It was a rainy day, and dark clouds covered the sky. The rain had been falling for a long time, making the weather feel dry and cold. Everything looked gray and wet, creating a calm but gloomy atmosphere in the photos.

To make the environment more realistic, I added some extra clouds as it was raining. Then I added Bamboo leaves as particles. To make the picture a little bit darker, I reduced the brightness.

Exploring the beauty of Japan didn't stop there. Sakai was on his way back to HIYOSHI SPRING, where his sensei ISHIKAWA was waiting for him. The rainy weather suddenly turned into a mild storm.

ISHIKAWA sensei now used to lives outside the village, up on a hill. To meet with him, Sakai had to climb a mountain.

He didn't hesitate at all to do that. He started to climb the high mountain. The view from the top of the hill was fascinating. It was a breathtaking sunset scene. The sky is painted in warm orange and pink hues. I changed the season from rainy to autumn so that it can cast a golden glow over the trees below. Smoke rises in the distance, possibly from a burning village, adding a sense of tension to the peaceful landscape.

Sensei wasn't there but some of the Mongolians were available. Jin Sakai called for STANDOFF. Jin Sakai executed a brutal katana strike, with blood splattering into the air as he cut down the enemy. His determined expression and powerful stance highlight his skill as a samurai. I like to do this STANDOFF call whenever I get a chance. This gives me a cinematic feel, making this a powerful moment in the game.

This photo was taken after the victory in the war at the Naykama Fort. A cinematic view of the sky and the landscape that was filled with warm orange and golden colors. The sun was about to set, far on the horizon. That setting sun was forming the golden glow everywhere. In the front, there is a wooden watchtower and the barricade of the fort. In the background, there is a huge forested area connected with hills and covered with smoke, adding depth and mood that creates a cinematic feel.

This photo I took from the same watchtower but from the opposite side. As the sun was lighting the skyline, Jin Sakai stood in silence at the top of the watchtower. The wind was whispering the joy of the victory, yet he wasn't happy. Jin’s eyes were on the sea, observing the Mongols' ships out in the distance. Dozens of them, anchored and waiting for the signal to strike.
