LOH CONTEST #164: My plans for Christmas🎄✨💖

I think I've said it multiple times, but I don't mind saying it again: Christmas is one of the best things ever ❤️ Absolutely everything about this time of year makes me fall in love with it, the decorations, the food, the music, the traditions, everything about Christmas is just wonderful.

So when I saw that this week's #LadiesOfHive questions, proposed by @nainaztengra, were related to the Christmas season, I knew immediately that I had to participate, because any opportunity I have to talk about Christmas is always very welcome. So thank you, my dear @mandysmoon, for inviting me to participate✨

Creo que lo he dicho múltiples veces, pero no me importa decirlo de nuevo: La navidad es una de las mejores cosas que existe ❤️ Absolutamente todo lo relacionado con esta época del año me enamora, las decoraciones, la comida, la música, las tradiciones, todo lo que envuelve a la navidad es simplemente maravilloso.

Por eso, cuando ví que las preguntas de esta semana de #LadiesOfHive, propuestas por @nainaztengra, eran relacionadas a la temporada navideña, supe inmediatamente que debía participar, porque cualquier oportunidad que tenga para hablar acerca de la navidad será siempre muy bien recibida. Así que gracias mi querida @mandysmoon, por invitarme a participar✨

For me, the holiday season is all about spending time with family, so every year I look forward to Christmas again, as I cherish every moment I can spend with my entire family together. Therefore, as in previous years, my Christmas plans are to host my family at my house. It's not completely decided yet, but I hope that my relatives (who live in another city) will be able to come to my house for the date of December 24, and enjoy it all together.

In the event that not everyone can come, then my parents, my sister and I have decided to spend that day watching a marathon of Christmas movies, in our pajamas and with lots of food🤭 With us there are no little kids anymore, so for now there is not much magic in "waiting for Santa" and presents. The idea is to make the typical Venezuelan Christmas dinner, buy candy, ice cream and popcorn, and stay up until midnight watching movies, which although they are mostly cliché, have those Christmas vibes that I love💕

For the end of the year, the main plan is for us to travel to visit my relatives, prepare a big dinner and celebrate together the arrival of the new year. Anyway, my great Christmas wish is to be with my family, at least one of those two dates, which in my opinion are the best of the year. I really hate living apart from everyone, that's why I get excited like a little girl every time my family gets together, and I try to enjoy every second, because they are my favorite people💖

Es época de fiestas y todos queremos celebrarlas. Comparte con nosotros cuáles son tus planes festivos / navideños para este año✨

Para mí la época navideña es pasar tiempo en familia, por eso cada año espero con ansias que vuelva a llegar la navidad, dado que aprecio cada momento en que puedo compartir con toda mi familia reunida. Por lo tanto, al igual que los años anteriores, mis planes navideños son recibir a mi familia en mi casa. Aún no está completamente decidido, pero espero que mis familiares (que viven en otra ciudad) puedan venir para la fecha del 24 de diciembre a mi casa, y disfrutar todos juntos.

En el dado caso que no puedan venir todos, mis padres, mi hermana y yo, hemos decidido pasar ese día viendo un maratón de películas navideñas, en pijamas y con un montón de comida🤭 Con nosotros ya no hay niños pequeños, así que por ahora no hay mucha magia en "esperar a Santa" y los regalos. La idea es hacer la típica cena navideña venezolana, comprar dulces, helados y cotufas, y estar hasta medianoche viendo películas, que aunque en su mayoría son un cliché, tienen esas vibras navideñas que yo amo💕

Para la fecha de fin de año, el plan principal es nosotros viajar a visitar a mis familiares, preparar una gran cena y festejar juntos la llegada del nuevo año. Sea como sea, mi gran deseo de navidad es estar con mi familia, por lo menos una de esas dos fechas, que en mi opinión son las mejores del año. Realmente odio vivir separados de todos, por eso me emociono como una niña pequeña en cada ocasión que mi familia se reune, e intento disfrutar cada segundo, porque son mis personas favoritas💖

If right now a Christmas elf came to give me a wish and make my life happier (like a Christmas movie😂) there are two things I would really appreciate. I would wish prosperity for my family, that they can lessen their financial worries, that they can get good job opportunities, I want to see them calm and satisfied with what they are doing. As long as they are well, I will be well.

And for me, one thing I wish for with all my heart, is to travel✨ There are many things I would love to make in a wish, but really traveling, going out and seeing new places, or going back to those amazing places I already know, is what I want most in this coming year. To have adventures, and moments where I say, "what the heck did I get myself into?", experience new things I wouldn't have done before, and just enjoy life. That would be my wish.

Si tuvieras un deseo mágico para estas Navidades, ¿cuál sería?✨

Si ahora mismo llegara un duende navideño a regalarme un deseo y hacer mi vida más feliz (así tipo película navideña😂) hay dos cosas que realmente apreciaría. Desearía prosperidad para mi familia, que puedan disminuir sus preocupaciones económicas, que puedan conseguir buenas oportunidades de trabajo, quiero verlos tranquilos y satisfechos con lo que están haciendo. Mientras ellos estén bien, yo lo estaré.

Y para mí, una cosa que deseo con todo mi corazón, es viajar✨ Hay muchas cosas que me encantaría pedir en un deseo, pero realmente viajar, salir y conocer nuevos lugares, o volver a esos lugares increíbles que ya conozco, es lo que más quiero en este próximo año. Tener aventuras, y momentos en los que diga: "¿en qué rayos me metí?", experimentar cosas nuevas que antes no hubiera hecho, y simplemente disfrutar de la vida. Ese sería mi deseo.

I will cross my fingers, touch wood, and I will wish with great passion that all those wishes come true🤭 But I think the most important thing, and one of the most beautiful things that Christmas gives us, is that moment of gratitude, I can wish for many things but I must also be grateful for what I already have. Very few times we stop for a moment to think about everything we have, and thank the universe, God, whatever you believe in, for all that💖 Sometimes we are very fortunate, and we don't realize it.

Cruzaré los dedos, tocaré madera, y desearé con mucha pasión que se manifiesten todos esos deseos🤭 Pero creo que lo más importante, y una de las cosas más lindas que nos regala la navidad, es ese momento de agradecimiento, puedo desear muchas cosas pero también debo agradecer lo que ya tengo. Muy pocas veces nos detenemos un momento para pensar en todo lo que tenemos, y dar gracias al universo, a Dios, en lo que creas, por todo eso💖 A veces somos muy afortunados, y no nos damos cuenta.
