Hi chatgpt!

Hahaha I tend to greet and say thank you to the inanimate machine too during my sessions 😆

I'd like it to be witty and relatable to whatever demographic is most likely to invest in the platform and enjoy the community.

Ohh nice spin on the "whichever demo is most likely" approach - I'd be very interested in the follow up question of: "Now please explain to me exactly who comprises the demographic you decided up for this task and why you chose them specifically?"

That could be some useful intel right there, you know?

Thanks for entering! I hope the concept and the exercise amused you as much as it does me!

I've seen enough movies where the machines take over, I want them to remember I was polite 😂!

As for the follow up question, I paraphrased a bit but here was the response:

The ad is tailored to attract a demographic that includes tech-savvy individuals, content creators, and crypto enthusiasts. These are people who are likely familiar with social media and blockchain technology, appreciate the value of decentralization, and are motivated by the potential to earn through their online activities. This group typically includes Millennials and Gen Z, who are active on social media and open to innovative financial opportunities.

YES THIS :) Hahahaha excellent.

as for the follow up, thanks for doing that!

So - forget about the unwashed masses, aim for the "crypto-bros" and "crypto-sis's" in a teens and up to younger adult age category who like money.

Seems easy enough. :)

I think I'd ask myself who's most active here now because if the new Hivers don't feel any connection to the current Hivers, there's a decent chance they won't stay long...but if crypto bros etc take Hive back to its ATH, I wouldn't complain!

I like the way you think.

It's a verrrry good point you make.

The connection to the types of people we already have is a huge point I hadn't heard articulated anywhere else yet, and honestly its spot on.

I'd say by and large its NOT "crypto bros". It's regular folk all around the world making this place special. Big or small wallet aside. The folks I meet are special and above average in their unique things, code, art, music, words, videos, etc, but they are still "regular folks" by and large. Not some ultra-dweeby basement dwelling crypto day trading neckbeards.

Well mostly anyway. 🙃

I know when I arrived, these ordinary folks ran contests, talked to each other and had fun and that made me write and draw and sing more than I had in years. I think it would be best to focus on attracting and retaining regular folks first so that the community gets more vibrant again. But if there's not enough people here authentically enjoying themselves with each other, there's not enough to invest in.

You are starting to smell the pollen on this flower that EngineWitty and I are doing with our witness @pollenation ! I Hope you will take a moment to read some of our announcement posts about that exact sentiment and they will help you keep and create more of that enthusiasm, so that we can become the kind of place that well as I like to say, doesn't need much "marketing" because good things sell themselves.

On that note, I've been squawking about how we should give more "viewing exposure" to posts that get lots of comments. Like a straight across repost. Just like TikTok does. I'm gunna sing that song as long as it goes.

But that's a great way to keep the most engaging convos going (TikTok isn't doing that by accident). Keep singing that song, I hope it reaches the right ears!

I can vote on the shared appreciation :) I have refrained from voting on entries as the contest conductor.

Actually I haven't seen any votes on entries yet...May have to do a random draw on video and post that if no one gets a vote.

Perhaps the next one will get more community participation 🤔. Still a fun concept!

Well, my tenure of 4 or 5 years here took a 2 year hiatus, so I lost a lot of reach, but with our new witness coming up strong in the ranks and my name well known amongst the old-timers (some for better, some for worse) it won't be long till I get back to my old level of eyeballs on things.

The user attrition since I was last here, isn't helping that, but that's the goal of @pollenation witness and my team up with @enginewitty on that and several initiatives to bring people in and also back... and fire up a new generation of enthusiasm for the place in general for everyone. Stay tuned :)

I was gone for a year until 2 weeks ago and it does seem like some of the older Hivers are coming back bit by bit too. I'll be looking out for those initiatives 👍😊

Wow, you guys are taking it to the next level. I'd be super curious to see how we get Qualtrics level analytics for free haha.

That was super smart of you to kick it up a notch and ask it to assume a specific audience that would be most likely to invest. Nice call. 10 points haha.

Thanks 😁! I figured if we want Hive to be fun but also increase in monetary value that this was the direction I would take
