Love is in the air, it is the theme of the contest for the month of February, since the most important date of the month is Valentine's Day, that day when you celebrate love, but also friendship. In this first entry to the contest, I want to show you this tutorial for a surprise, different and beautiful Valentine's card.

For this craft we will use few materials, but a lot of love and creativity, here is the list...

El amor está en el aire, es el tema del concurso del mes de febrero, ya que la fecha más importante del mes es San Valentín, ese día donde celebras el amor, pero también la amistad. En esta primera entrada al concurso, quiero enseñarles este tutorial de una tarjeta de San Valentín sorpresa, diferente y hermosa.
Para esta manualidad usaremos pocos materiales, pero mucho amor y creatividad, acá les dejo la lista...

I started by cutting out 4 strips of 5 x 5 x 1.5 cm to make the bases where the surprise photographs would be placed. And they are folded in the cuts that were made, and then glue the flaps with school glue as shown in the image.

Empecé recortando 4 tiras de 5 x 5 x 1.5 cm para hacer las bases donde se colocarían las fotografías sorpresas. Y se doblan en los cortes que se hicieron, para luego pegar las solapas con pegamento escolar como se muestra en la imagen.

Next, we are going to cut out 10 x 1.5 cm long strips, we will cut out 4, to make the supports that will give mobility to the photographs, gluing them as seen in the photograph. In reverse and then folding inward.

Después, vamos a recortar tiras de 10 x 1.5 cm de largo, recortaremos 4, para hacer los soportes que le darán movilidad a las fotografias, pegándoles como se ve en la fotografía. Al inverso y luego doblando hacia adentro.

We are going to cut out a rectangle of 13 x 8 cm *where we will place the rail that we have made previously and where we will paste the most relevant photographs that we have with our special person.
And to finish we will only give details with markers, in my case I used a white marker for the black cardboard and a black marker for the purple cardboard.

Vamos a recortar un rectangulo de 13 x 8 cm donde colocaremos el carril que hemos elaborado anteriormente y donde pegaremos las fotografías más relevantes que tengamos con nuestra persona especial.
Y para finalizar sólo le daremos detalles con marcadores, en mi caso utilicé un marcador blanco para la cartulina negra y un marcador negro para la cartulina morada.

This was the final result of the Valentine's Day card I made for my boyfriend and if you're wondering where the surprise is, I'll show you below!
