WK53: WHAT FUELS MY FIRE
Hello #hiveghana communities my humble greetings to every ladies and gentlemen here, with all the hard work and passion are very commendable, it's my first time posting and I'm delighted to share in, my experience and what drives my day, my passion and enthusiasm for what I love doing, and also keeps me loving what I do.
I'm a pastry chef, I'm into production of all sort of snacks, ranging from pastries, small chops, cakes baking and icing, doughnuts (including all snacks made with white dough) with excellent and exceptional taste and quality both in preparing the sauce and the snack production I've been in the game with over seven years of working experience,
I can literally boost of over 20 recipes for snack production and a step by step instructions on how it's made....it's a hubby, it's a passion, it's my enthusiast my everything, it's my spark and my drive for life, I'm hoping someday to own my company.
What I am today and where I am today all began some many years ago, I never knew a thing about baking confectionaries or anything close to it, I just needed a thing to survive with on campus, when I finally get admission.
It all began at my very first place of work were I was employed as a lobby boy or waiter, few month later I was promoted to the position of a control, one who recieves finished products from all departments to the front line for sales, kept records and report to the manager, these also comes with very good salary and other benefits as well
making of springroll sauce
Meanwhile I do admire the Pastery guys doing all the snacks and cakes designs I saw it as a perfect means to showcase one's side of creativeness, imagining a concept and visualizing it than applying it on what you want to your cake.
So I talked to the Pastery supervisor about it and he okayed the idea, but my supervisor wasn't fine with it cause at the time my salary was to be increased by 4%, so I was between the devil and the red blue sea, the Pastery department I was Intending to switch to were earning like -5% of my current salary at the time before the purposed increment.
So here I was at a crossroads either maintain my Current position and recieve the raise or stwl dowm forfeit the raise and a decreased earning plus hard labour
Or it’s the urge to do better for the future you crave?
But for the future I crave, to live beyond now to creating a future filled with possibility I had to let go and step down, towarn, to acquire a skill set that will keep me relevant, on-demand and sort after.
Fastforeward to this day I can boost of all these and more and I'm still open up to more learning, experience, exposures in the field of baking confectionaries.
I'm mostly at my best when I'm doing what I love, this is my passion and I hope to build my own brand own my space, explore all the possibilities in the world baking and harness them to my full advantage
Thanks all guys I hope to explore the #hiveghana community more, more great content, engagement and interactions within the community, it's a pleasure to be participate.
