Bread is still my thing till date, I don't get tired of it and I don't think I'll ever do.. for plantain, it is a good choice too. Your Friend is Right, since you love plantain so much, it would be nice to have a plantain garden, you can start with one, it's simple, make research on the internet and you will get a clue on how to go about it
