Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 31 || Review Of Our God Cover By @rubiiess

Greetings friends.

This week's theme is 2000s, I saw a lot of beautiful entries in the community while looking for a song to review, I just had to close my eyes and pick one because all were great.

My review for this week will be on @rubiiess cover of a song titled Our God by Chris Tomlin.

The song talks about the wonderful powers of God. How he turned water into wine and how he shines even in the thickest darkness.

This implies that as long as we rely on God, he can come through for us anytime and can turn around any situation for our good.

Rubiiess has a very nice voice that I want to call "a gifted voice." Judging by his face one can easily say this guy's voice won't give me what I want but just hold on till you hear it out.

Although I was expecting to see him with a guitar as usual, he surprised me. He showed up with no guitar. He decided to do something new by using an instrumental from the background and creating an amazing humming sound to back it up making it entertaining.

One thing that stood out for me in his entry is his ability not to force himself to flow with the song. He was simply enjoying the song and flowing with it on his key.

It made it very easy for him not to pause for a moment to cough or clear his throat inorder not to encounter any blockage along the line and that was beautiful.

His body language was okay for me, his eyes were closed at some points, and he moves intermittently as the song moved him him. He loved what he was doing, that makes it even more interesting for me.

His timing was also nice, he was able to put up everything together within two minutes, twenty nine seconds (2:29) and that's cool. Most people don't like lengthy videos even if they are great, too much of everything can be bad but then if it would be short, it should be meaningful and capture every detail.
