Weekend-engagement week #210: Being the opposite gender

To be a good woman, you have to be hard working, wake up as early as 6:am to keep the house and it's environment clean. Do the house chores prepare breakfast and the rest of the unending lectures from my mom.🤦 Sometimes am forced to ask what about my brothers are they not supposed to be up and also make good plans for the family? My questions to my mom. But her response is that I can't compare myself to them and most especially their responsibility is to provide and protect their home not to do chores around cause they are masculine. 😭
Being the only female child of my mom is a whole lot of stress as so many times I wished and imagined I was a male so the work load is gonna be less for me.

The times my siblings get to help out is when am down or when they wish too sometimes I plead with them to help out a bit under their terms and conditions but all the same they are so loving and caring. 😍

Aside that, their are some opportunities/ privileges I would have enjoyed but then i wasn't granted the opportunity too. During my training as an artisan, it warrants we travel out as so many times job opportunity comes outside the city for my boss. I always look forward to travel as I enjoys it alot but then my uncle I was staying with as at then makes it a mission impossible for me. I know his looking out for my safety but same it was heartbreaking for me. I was denied privileges to explore, travel to different cities and make out time with my friends. the painful part is when my colleagues comes back to tell me the fun they had expecially the new food they tried out being a foodie makes me want to cry the more. And in that moment of time I wished I could switch to the other gender but all were mere wishes. All same am wonderful and beautifully made. 💞
