entry smash 366: the locals at the gate

shadows are not the same everywhere you go. some shadows you will find typical in one area but never see anything like them in other areas. of course shadows are often unique but i am referring to more general situations. while shadows of a girl by a gate may be common enough anywhere, here it would not be unusual if the shadows include a calf standing outside the gate or at a shop door or just hanging out on the street. such shadows will never be seen live in London, Amsterdam or New York.

so i enjoy finding and appreciating shadows typical of the area i am in but rare to non-existent other places. they are an integral part of the local scene and atmosphere.
