Ladies of Hive Contest #174: Between sunsets and leap years ✨ [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Una nueva semana de iniciativas en la comunidad. En esta oportunidad tenemos dos preguntas con temas distintos para todos los gustos. Bueno, empecemos.

Algunos de los momentos más bellos del día son el amanecer y el atardecer. Queremos saber cuál es tu favorito y por qué. Además, agregue una foto que haya tomado de su favorito para que todos podamos compartir su belleza.

Esta pregunta me cae como anillo al dedo, ya que tengo una debilidad y amor especial hacía los atardeceres. No sé muy bien por qué, pero me parece un momento mágico e ideal para detenerte a admirar un rato el cielo mientras piensas en la belleza de la vida o en nada en particular después de haber tenido un día agitado. Es como un momento de desconexión que me permito tener cuando me haga falta. Siento que no todos los atardeceres son iguales, hay algunos con más tonalidades de naranja, otros más rosados, otros son una mezcla entre los dos. También depende la hora que sea y como se va moviendo por la corrida de los días que se hacen más largos o más cortos dependiendo de en qué lado del hemisferio te encuentres. Ahora acá se están haciendo más cortos, así que atardece más temprano que hace unos meses.

Me acuerdo una vez cuando era pequeña que escuche en la televisión que si veías el atardecer de color rosa es porque estabas enamorada, desde ahí comencé a observarlo y creo que me quedo esa costumbre. Los amaneceres también son bonitos, son el inicio de un nuevo día. Pero no me producen el mismo sentimiento que un atardecer.

Como amante de los atardeceres tengo muchas fotos tomadas en el patio de mi casa que es donde me suelen agarrar los atardeceres. Debería tomar más fotos pronto para seguir acumulando, ya que siempre vienen bien y es genial para este tipo de iniciativas.

¡2024 es el año bisiesto! Si naciste el 29 de febrero de un año bisiesto, ¿Qué te gusta o no te gusta de él? ¿Cómo celebras tu cumpleaños? Si no lo fueras, ¿te gustaría serlo? Cuéntanos por qué lo harías o no, y también cómo lo celebrarías.

Con respecto a esta pregunta, no nací en este día, ni conozco a nadie cercano que cumple un 29 de febrero, pero es una fecha que me da mucha curiosidad por lo mismo. Me parece re loco que te toque nacer justo en una fecha que existe cada 4 años. Me preguntó si te perjudica en algo o si sufrirás mucho por no tener tu fecha especial, sobre todo cuando somos niños que es cuando más valoramos nuestros cumpleaños. En lo personal, no es una fecha en la que me gustaría nacer, pero si fuera el caso tengo claro que prefiero festejar mi cumpleaños el 1 de marzo porque soy de las que creen que festejarlo antes trae mala suerte.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing very well. A new week of initiatives in the community. This time we have two questions with different topics for all tastes. Well, let's get started.

Some of the most beautiful times of the day are sunrise and sunset. We want to know which is your favorite and why? Also, please add a photo you've taken of your favorite one so we can all share in the beauty of it!

This question fits me like a glove, since I have a special weakness and love for sunsets. I don't really know why, but I find it a magical and ideal moment to stop and admire the sky for a while while you think about the beauty of life or anything in particular after having had a hectic day. It's like a moment of disconnection that I allow myself to have when I need it. I feel that not all sunsets are the same, there are some with more shades of orange, others more pink, others are a mix between the two. It also depends on the time of day and how it moves with the length of the days, which become longer or shorter depending on which side of the hemisphere you are in. Now here they are getting shorter, so it gets dark earlier than a few months ago.

I remember once when I was little I heard on television that if you saw the sunset in pink is because you were in love, since then I began to observe it and I think I kept that habit. Sunrises are also beautiful, they are the beginning of a new day. But they don't give me the same feeling as a sunset.

As a lover of sunsets I have many photos taken in the backyard of my house which is where the sunsets usually catch me. I should take more photos soon to keep accumulating, as they always come in handy and it's great for this kind of initiatives.

2024 is Leap Year! If you were born on February 29th of a leap year, what do you like or dislike about it? How do you celebrate your birthday? If you weren't, would you want to be? Tell us why you would or would not, and also how you would celebrate it.

Regarding this question, I was not born on this day, nor do I know anyone close to me who has a birthday on February 29, but it is a date that makes me very curious for the same reason. It seems crazy to me that you happen to be born on a date that exists every 4 years. I wonder if it hurts you at all or if you will suffer a lot for not having your special date, especially when we are kids when we value our birthdays the most. Personally, it is not a date I would like to be born on, but if it were the case, I would prefer to celebrate my birthday on March 1st because I am one of those who believe that celebrating it earlier brings bad luck.
