Todos sabemos que cuidar la salud mental es igual de importante que la fรญsica, pero lo que sucede desde siempre es que las mujeres solemos cargar con muchas tensiones y preocupaciones de la vida, y muchas veces ni siquiera son nuestras. A menudo me sentรญa ahogada por situaciones que no dependรญan de mรญ para que se resolvieran, pero ahรญ vamos, caรญan sobre mis hombros igualmente.
Luchar contra la ansiedad es algo a lo que me tengo que enfrentar dรญa a dรญa, ya no la sufro tanto como antes cuando no tenรญa herramientas para paliar este estado. Ya sรฉ que hay escenarios que pueden dispararla asรญ que trato de evitarlos, pero si es algo inevitable, me voy mentalizando para sortearla lo mejor posible. Aunque en ocasiones hay ataques que suceden de imprevisto y es a estos a los que mรกs cuesta calmar.
Lo que tome como rutina diaria que me suele calmar en momento de estrรฉs y ansiedad es caminar, ya sea saliendo a caminar para despejarme o hacerlo en la casa yendo de un lado para otro mientras voy meditando. Al contrario de la opiniรณn popular, limpiar tambiรฉn me ayuda a apagar las voces internas y a cansarme, por lo que cuando terminรณ solo quiero tirarme a descansar. Escuchar mรบsica y leer es algo que hago todos los dรญas, pero cuando la ansiedad es muy grande no me puedo concentrar en la lectura, asรญ que esto lo tomo como un pasatiempo que amo hacer pero no necesariamente para calmar la ansiedad, en cambio, escuchar mรบsica si ayuda en estos casos. Incluso hay una gran variedad de playlist especiales para esto.
Cuando siento que me estรก por agarrar un ataque fuerte intentรณ concentrarme en lo que estoy haciendo en el momento u otra cosa que requiera si o si de toda mi atenciรณn, vacรญo mi mente de pensamientos o me concentro en un punto fijo mientras trato de controlar la respiraciรณn. Por suerte, no suelo tener estos seguidos, sin embargo, son los que mรกs por sorpresa me agarran. Lo importante es no entrar en pรกnico y aprender a conocer las seรฑales y a nuestro cuerpo, ya que todos tenemos tรฉcnicas que nos funcionan mejor que otras.
Tambiรฉn hay que saber entender que la mayorรญa de estos ataques se originan por nuestra mente que nos juega una mala pasada, muchas veces callamos cosas importantes para decir o vamos acumulando preocupaciones de acรก y de allรก que en algรบn momento tienen que salir, ya sea en forma de enojo, frustraciรณn, tristeza o trastornos mรกs graves. Serรญa genial que aprendamos a soltar todo aquello que no nos sirve y limpiemos nuestra mente para que no nos afecten tanto. Tambiรฉn ayuda compartir nuestras preocupaciones con personas que nos escuchen. Incluso a mรญ me sirve mucho escribirlo, escribir cรณmo me siento este dรญa o aquello que quiero sacar sin compartir con nadie, a veces escribo y lo destruyรณ o lo guardo pero no sรฉ lo muestro a nadie. Solo con plasmarlo en algรบn lado me sirve.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing very well. This is a new week of very interesting questions to think about and rethink. This time I will focus on the second one. Well, let's get started.
"Women are prone to depression and anxiety" ~ Women are twice as likely as men to experience depression and anxiety disorders. Different factors come into play with women: hormonal fluctuations, life transitions, societal pressures, and genetic predisposition all contribute to increased risk. How do we women overcome persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, irritability, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and possibly loss of interest in activities?

We all know that taking care of our mental health is just as important as our physical health, but what has always happened is that women tend to carry a lot of stresses and worries in life, and many times they are not even ours. I often felt suffocated by situations that were not up to me to resolve, but there we go, they fell on my shoulders just the same.
Fighting anxiety is something that I have to face every day, I no longer suffer as much as before when I had no tools to alleviate this state. I know that there are scenarios that can trigger it so I try to avoid them, but if it is unavoidable, I get myself psyched up to deal with it as best as possible. Although sometimes there are attacks that happen unexpectedly and these are the ones that are the hardest to calm down.
What I take as a daily routine that usually calms me down in times of stress and anxiety is walking, either going for a walk to clear my head or doing it in the house going from one place to another while meditating. Contrary to popular opinion, cleaning also helps me to turn off the inner voices and get tired, so when I'm done I just want to lie down and rest. Listening to music and reading is something I do every day, but when the anxiety is too great I can not concentrate on reading, so I take this as a hobby that I love to do but not necessarily to calm anxiety, instead, listening to music if it helps in these cases. There are even a variety of special playlists for this.
When I feel a strong attack coming on, I try to concentrate on what I am doing at the moment or something else that requires my full attention, I empty my mind of thoughts or I concentrate on a fixed point while trying to control my breathing. Luckily, I don't usually have these in a row, however, they are the ones that catch me by surprise the most. The important thing is not to panic and learn to know the signs and our body, as we all have techniques that work better than others.
We must also understand that most of these attacks originate from our mind that plays a trick on us, many times we keep quiet about important things to say or we accumulate worries here and there that at some point have to come out, either in the form of anger, frustration, sadness or more serious disorders. It would be great if we could learn to let go of everything that does not serve us and clean our minds so that they do not affect us so much. It also helps to share our worries with people who will listen to us. Even for me it helps me a lot to write it down, to write how I feel this day or what I want to get out without sharing with anyone, sometimes I write and destroy it or keep it but I don't show it to anyone. Just writing it down somewhere is good for me.

Listening to calm music is a good ideal. I'll have to change from my metal, punk and post punk genre and into Symphonic genre that I used to listen to. But gardening is more my delight and escape. Thanks @erigm
These musical genres are ideal for going for a run or exercising, which also helps release stress. Gardening is very relaxing, it really helps.

Cleaning helps me also in relieving the stress. And I agree that at times stress doesn't let us focus on reading. Well it also depends on what we read.
I wanna know what attacks are you exactly talking about? Panic attacks?
It's an art that takes time but if we master it and start avoiding the unimportant we save our potential for growth.

Woman have nurturing disposition, often take on problems that emotionally drain us where we need to find a manner to rebuild our own strength. Good to know what to do in personal circumstances when we recognize the problem.

It is very true, we have a predisposition to protect others. That is why it is good to know how to calm our stress and anxiety so that it does not affect us so much and keeping our mind clean will improve our health on a general level.
