🌼 Ladies of Hive Contest #185: My mother, my guide [ES/EN]

¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien y hayan pasado un hermoso día de la madre. Se siente un poco raro hablar sobre el día de las madres en mayo, ya que acá lo celebramos en octubre, pero como dice una de las preguntas, el día de las madres es todos los días así que da lo mismo en qué fecha caiga. Bueno, como es costumbre, estoy acá para participar de la nueva iniciativa de la semana. Allí vamos.

El mes de mayo está dedicado especialmente a las madres. ¿Qué palabras usarías para demostrar el inmenso amor que sientes por la mujer que te brinda su amor incondicional? Puedes escribir tu letra, palabras inspiradoras o un poema para rendir homenaje y expresar tus sentimientos hacia tu madre.

Mi madre es mi compañera de vida, mi guía y mi rayo de sol de cada día. La verdad es que no le suelo expresar mucho con palabras cuánto la amo, soy más de las acciones, pero sé que ella lo sabe. Somos muy unidas desde siempre y nos tenemos un profundo amor, ella siempre está para apoyarme en cada logro u objetivo que emprenda. También sabe ponerme en vereda cuando hace falta, ella puede ser bastante dura al expresarse, pero sé que lo hace desde su amor de madre y que solo quiere lo mejor para mí. En este último tiempo fuimos intercambiando un poco los roles, ahora soy yo la que la cuida y vela por ella, sin embargo, ella todavía me sigue cuidando como cuando era pequeña, supongo que son cosas de madres. No se pueden despegar de ese sentido de atender a los hijos, como cuando quiero hacerme un café y me dice que me lo prepara ella y yo le digo que puedo hacerlo sola, pero al final gana ella y me lo hace. Es su forma de darme amor, entre otras. La verdad es que espero que todos tengan un vínculo así de lindo con sus madres. Ellas nos hacen el día a día más hermoso y llevadero, además de que nunca se cansan de estar ahí, al pie del cañón cuando las necesitamos. Una madre es única y especial, y a mí me tocó una de las mejores. No podría haber caído en mejores manos, fui muy bendecida al tener una madre como ella.

Ojalá tuviéramos alguna tradición o receta especial para compartirles, pero la verdad es que no hay nada de eso. Solo somos nosotras dos improvisando cada día de la vida. Tenemos nuestras rutinas juntas, como sentarnos a ver determinados programas de TV o merendar juntas siempre que se pueda, pero nada más que ello. Somos bastante opuestas a pesar de lo expresado, tenemos intereses diversos, pero así y todo congeniamos muy bien y nos amamos que es lo importante al fin de cuenta. Ese es un hermoso legado, intentar ser la madre que mi madre fue para mí cuando llegue ese momento.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all feeling well and have had a lovely Mother's Day. It feels a little weird to talk about Mother's Day in May, since we celebrate it here in October, but as one of the questions says, Mother's Day is every day, so it doesn't matter when it falls. Well, as usual, I'm here to participate in the new initiative of the week. Here we go.

The month of May is dedicated especially to mothers. What words would you use to show the immense love you feel for the woman who gives you her unconditional love? You can write your handwriting, inspirational words, or a poem to pay tribute and express your feelings towards your mother.

My mother is my life partner, my guide and my daily ray of sunshine. The truth is that I do not usually express much with words how much I love her, I am more of actions, but I know she knows it. We have always been very close and we have a deep love for each other, she is always there to support me in every achievement or goal I undertake. She can be quite harsh when expressing herself, but I know that she does it from her motherly love and that she only wants the best for me. Lately we have been exchanging roles, now I am the one who takes care of her and watches over her, however, she still takes care of me as she did when I was little, I guess it's a mother thing. They can't get rid of that sense of taking care of the children, like when I want to make me a coffee and she tells me that she prepares it for me and I tell her that I can do it by myself, but in the end she wins and makes it for me. It is her way of giving me love, among others. The truth is that I hope everyone has such a beautiful bond with their mothers. They make our day-to-day life more beautiful and bearable, plus they never get tired of being there, at the bottom of the barrel when we need them. A mother is unique and special, and I got one of the best. I could not have fallen into better hands, I was very blessed to have a mother like her.

I wish we had some special tradition or recipe to share with you, but the truth is there is nothing like that. It's just the two of us improvising every day of life. We have our routines together, like sitting down to watch certain TV shows or having a snack together whenever we can, but nothing more than that. We are quite opposite in spite of what we say, we have different interests, but we still get along very well and we love each other, which is what is important at the end of the day. That is a beautiful legacy, to try to be the mother that my mother was for me when that time comes.
