2023 was a very important year in my life, and one of the events that has marked my life has to do with this contest, for which I am infinitely grateful.

It may be that the fact that I am going to point out as an important moment of that year may be strange for some and unheard of for others, but the fact is that I consider it a transcendental moment in my life and that, in the objective of continuing my life routine has been a person who has been by my side for the last 26 years and to whom this publication is also dedicated.

Before I continue, I would like to invite @latita, @yirkahr and @yanerkidiaz to participate in this contest so that they can present their thoughts on the matter.

From the above here goes my moment and other considerations:

2023 marked an important milestone in my life, because, on April 11 I turned 60 years old and, coinciding with that date came the big moment of the year and one of the most important in my life: MY RETIREMENT.

Many will wonder why I point out this stage as a moment of happiness, how is it possible that going home or being away from my colleagues of so many years is a moment of joy.

What I can tell you is that this moment has allowed me to carry out projects that I could not do before due to the great amount of obligations and work tasks, it has given me peace and inner tranquility, it has allowed me to visit my sisters and other relatives that I had not seen for a long time or I did it sporadically.

I must also tell you that it has allowed me to get up later or get up whenever I want because I do not have the obligation to get to work early and therefore plan better what I want to do every day.

It is true that I miss my coworkers and that I do not have the same work routine of yesteryear, but I have managed to incorporate new ways of doing, to prevent discouragement from taking over me and to assume this new stage of my life with dignity, courage and with all the desire to enjoy it.

These actions that have added quality of life to my retirement range from doing physical exercises, going out to enjoy, reading, writing in Hive to keeping myself well-groomed and pretty, going to the beach, staying away from bad thoughts; in short, living as fully as I can.

One more approach

Retirement can also be enjoyed, enjoyed and lived. It is all in proposing it and having people by your side to help you in this stage of your life, which is the continuation and culmination of your entire existence. In my case I have to thank my husband for his permanent support and help; my family for sharing and my children who from a distance give me enough strength to continue living and being a happy retiree.

El 2023 fue un año muy importante en mi vida y, uno de los hechos que ha marcado mi vida tienen que ver con este concurso que agradezco de manera infinita.

Puede ser que el hecho que voy a señalar como un momento importante de ese año resulte extraño para algunos e inauditos para otros, pero el hecho es que considero un momento trascendental en mi vida y que, en el objetivo de continuar mi rutina de vida ha sido una persona que ha estado a mi lado durante los últimos 26 años y al que también va dedicada esta publicación.

Antes de continuar quisiera invitar a @latita, @yirkahr y a @yanerkidiaz a participar en este concurso para que nos presenten sus consideraciones al respecto.

A partir de lo anterior aquí va mi momento y otras consideraciones:

El 2023 marcó un hito importante en mi vida, pues, el 11 de abril cumplí los 60 años de vida y, coincidiendo con esa fecha me llegó el gran momento del año y uno de los más importantes en mi vida: MI JUBILACIÓN.

Muchos se preguntarán por qué señalo esta etapa como un momento de felicidad, cómo es posible que ir para la casa o estar alejada de mis compañeros de tantos años sea momento de alegría.

Lo que puedo decirles es que este momento me ha permitido realizar proyectos que anteriormente no pude realizar por la gran cantidad de obligaciones y tareas laborales, me ha dado paz y tranquilidad interior, me ha permitido visitar de manera más seguida a mis hermanas y otros familiares a los que hacía tiempo no veía o lo hacía de manera esporádica.

También debo decirle que me ha permitido levantarme más tarde o hacerlo cuando me plazca porque no tengo la obligación de llegar temprano al trabajo y por ende planificar mejor lo que quiero hacer diariamente.

Es cierto que echo de menos a mis compañeros de trabajo y que no tengo la misma rutina de trabajo de antaño, pero he logrado incorporar nuevas maneras de hacer, para evitar que el desaliento se adueñe de mí y asumir esta nueva etapa de mi vida con la dignidad, valentía y con todas las ganas de disfrutarla.

Estas acciones que le han incorporado calidad de vida a mi jubilación van desde hacer ejercicios físicos, salir a disfrutar, leer, escribir en Hive hasta mantenerme arreglada y bonita, ir a la playa, alejarme de los malos pensamientos; en fin, vivir todo lo plenamente que pueda.

Un planteamiento más

La jubilación también se disfruta, se goza y se vive. Todo está en proponérselo y tener personas al lado que te ayuden en esta etapa de tu vida que es la continuación y culminación de tu existencia toda. En mi caso tengo que agradecer a mi esposo por su apoyo permanente y su ayuda; a mi familia por compartir y a mis hijos que desde la distancia me dan la fuerza suficiente para seguir viviendo y ser una jubilada feliz.
