Enjoying Carulla's annual coffee event at Oviedo mall [ESP/ENG]
Hello everyone, I hope your days are going great. Today I stop by after a long time to tell you about the annual event I had the opportunity to attend at the Oviedo Mall. To tell you the truth, I had been looking forward to this event for quite some time since the decoration, the offers, the gifts, the shows and the variety really catch my attention. I love coffee and chocolates and this is what I see most here. So, when I found out through social media that the event would be taking place at the end of the month, I couldn't resist and that was the main plan for the weekend.
This year's decorations were more elaborate than last year's, although each year has its own thing. I loved this small town or you could say colonial decoration, as soon as I saw it I thought of taking a couple of pictures. Also regarding colors, I have seen that red is the color of choice here when it comes to coffee events. What caught my attention before entering was the security guard who invited us because a comedian from Sabados Felices would be performing and I thought I would recognize him because those who know me know that I am quite showy but I was too embarrassed to ask for a picture.
The first decorations once you enter the event, are everything related to the history of coffee, that is to say, from the process of benefit, differences between varieties to the chronology of coffee. We continued walking around to see all the stands. We wanted to see what they were selling, if there were any new brands or if there were any promotions. At the end of the tour, we ended up tasting two brands of chocolate that were given to us as gifts and I can't remember the name right now. Our walk through here was quick but beneficial. There were so many people waiting for the show and accepting the coffee samples that we didn't have the opportunity to try any of them, however, the important thing for me was not to miss the event and leave with the chocolates given away.
If you ask me about my favorite brands of coffee here, I choose Juan Valdéz and Oma. I have tried several brands and each one has its own thing. The event was so nice because they were offering many beneficial promotions, even combos. I couldn't buy anything now because we still have coffee at home. But next year I hope to take the opportunity to end up with a coffee and your brand's mug, I would love that. Besides it's not only about coffee and chocolates, there was also a small bakery where you could get the perfect side dish to enjoy with your freshly brewed and hot coffee.
Something I love about Colombia and why I would choose this city a thousand times to live in, is because of this kind of events. I love the way they advertise a new product because they give you samples and it is a good way to know if you really want to buy it or not. For my part, this is how I discovered my preference for Oma coffee. A coffee that is not so strong and its flavor is unmatched. The event was a success and I enjoyed it as much as I wanted. The decorations in every corner were spectacular, from yoga and activities for children. All of this is so great to enjoy with the family. It's a perfect plan.
We definitely had a great time. I will be telling you about the next events that happen around here. For now, that's all for today, I hope you liked it. See you in a future post. Best regards
What a nice event! they have some interesting graphics about coffee too. Colombia is definitely known for its coffee and seem proud of it. They're on my list to visit to understand more about their coffee :D
