LOH #183/ My last photo (ENG-ESP)
Hello to all Ladies of Hive girls and boys! I just finished reading the theme of the week and thought it was fun and timely, so I wanted to share it with you.

I'm a full-time geological engineer, but from time to time I also do makeup and hair styling work for women who are dating or getting married. To attract new clients, I often do makeup and hairstyling promotions on social media. I usually count on the help of my friends or co-workers with whom I share daily. They all love to look beautiful, so there are no objections, except when I ask them to let me do their makeup for Halloween promotions, since that kind of makeup takes more effort and sometimes I don't find many candidates.
¡Hola a todas las chicas y chicos de Ladies of Hive! Acabo de terminar de leer el tema de la semana y me pareció divertido y oportuno, así que quiero compartirlo con ustedes.

Soy ingeniera geóloga a tiempo completo, pero de vez en cuando también hago trabajos de maquillaje y peinado para mujeres que tienen citas o van a casarse. Para atraer nuevas clientas, suelo hacer promociones de maquillaje y peinado en redes sociales. Por lo general, cuento con la ayuda de mis amigas o compañeras de trabajo con quienes suelo compartir diariamente. A todas les encanta lucir hermosas, así que no hay objeciones, excepto cuando les pido que me dejen maquillarlas para promociones de Halloween, ya que ese tipo de maquillaje lleva más esfuerzo y, a veces, no encuentro muchas candidatas.

On this occasion, a co-worker named Alina Aranda helped me. She is also a geological engineer, just like me. Before posting her photos, which would be the final promotional image for this year's Mother's Day promotion, I first shared some photos of my mom, a woman in her 60s, and talked about how makeup can make a woman of that age look beautiful. This attracted some clients of the same age who also wanted to look like my mom.
In Cuba, women like to be dressed up from head to toe from early in the morning. However, due to the current economic situation, not everyone can afford to get dressed up in a salon or go to a studio and have a nice photo taken for their birthday. Therefore, I always reduce my services, which cost 2,000 Cuban pesos, by 20% and give a photo as a gift on Mother's Day. I am neither a photographer nor an editor, but I do my best and they are satisfied. Then they send the photos to a family member or post them on social networks for their friends to see.
En esta ocasión, una compañera de trabajo llamada Alina Aranda me ayudó. Ella también es ingeniera geóloga, al igual que yo. Antes de publicar sus fotos, que serían la imagen promocional definitiva de la promoción del Día de las Madres de este año, primero compartí unas fotos de mi mamá, una mujer de 60 años, y hablé sobre cómo el maquillaje puede hacer que una mujer de esa edad luzca hermosa. Esto atrajo a algunas clientas de la misma edad que también querían lucir como mi mamá.
En Cuba, a las mujeres nos gusta estar arregladas de pies a cabeza desde temprano en la mañana. Sin embargo, debido a la situación económica actual, no todas pueden permitirse arreglarse en un salón o ir a un estudio y tomarse una bonita foto para su cumpleaños. Por lo tanto, siempre reduzco mis servicios, que cuestan 2 000 pesos cubanos, un 20% y regalo una foto en el Día de las Madres. No soy fotógrafa ni editora, pero hago todo lo posible y ellas quedan satisfechas. Luego, envían las fotos a algún familiar o las publican en las redes sociales para que sus amigas y amigos las vean.
Makeup done on my mother using mostly neutral and warm colors
My promotional image design for Mother's Day, in which I highlight the makeup with cold colors and highlight especially her lips to give a more sensual touch. I complemented the look with simple pearl earrings and a discreet bracelet so that the image did not look overloaded. The white dress conveys purity and the model looks elegant and sexy
