Last week, I came across a beautiful dog that, in my opinion, is half-breed. I stood looking at him as he tugged on the leash his owner was carrying and asked her if I could take pictures of her pet. Immediately, he started barking at me. I was a stranger to him and he was wary of my intentions, but I stayed low waiting for him to calm down and start sniffing me. Then maybe he would allow me to get close enough to take pictures of him.
When he calmed down, he returned to his natural state. Animals are struck by many things, a particular smell, something extremely small that is impossible for us humans to see the way they do, or a sound that they are very sensitive to. This particular little dog seemed to me to want to run around freely. He was looking everywhere and playing with his leash as if he wanted to be let loose. I love watching dogs run around freely. They are devilishly happy when they are allowed to do so.
La semana pasada, me topé con un bello perro que, en mi opinión, es mestizo.
