Всем привет! Hello everyone!
Одно из заметных зданий Твери с 1937 года – кинотеатр «Звезда» на набережной Степана Разина. Кинотеатр построен на историческом месте, здесь был домик Петра 1. Здание создано по проекту архитектора В. П. Калмыкова в стиле позднего конструктивизма. One of the notable buildings in Tver since 1937 is the Zvezda (Star) cinema on Stepan Razin Embankment. The cinema was built on a historical site, where Peter the Great's house used to be. The building was designed by architect V. P. Kalmykov in the late constructivism style.
Конструктивизм не очень любимый мной стиль в архитектуре, но «Звезда» смотрится довольно интересно. Две башни с колоннами наверху придают легкость всему сооружению. Constructivism is not my favorite style in architecture, but Zvezda looks quite interesting. Two towers with columns at the top give lightness to the whole structure.

Эти фотографии я сделала вечером 30 июня 2023 года. Как раз закончился дождь и уходящие тучи, подсвеченные вечерним солнцем, были очень живописны. I took these photos on the evening of June 30, 2023. The rain had just stopped and the receding clouds, illuminated by the evening sun, were very picturesque.
