Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Я назвала этот пост «Отдых и лечение». Но должна сказать, что в лечебном эффекте не уверена. Это такое странное для меня место в Пятигорске. И называется странно: «Бесстыжие ванны». Мы с друзьями пришли на склон горы Машук, чтобы увидеть это место как достопримечательность.	I titled this post “Rest and Healing.” But I must say that I’m not sure about the therapeutic effect. This is such a strange place for me in Pyatigorsk. And it’s called strangely: “Shameless Baths.” My friends and I came to the slope of Mount Mashuk to see this place as a landmark.

На склоне горы есть выход нескольких источников, вода из которых скапливается в небольших естественных углублениях. По размеру, действительно, ближе к ванным. С давних пор страждущие приходят полежать в лечебных целях в этой воде.	On the mountainside there are several springs, the water from which accumulates in small natural depressions. In size, indeed, closer to the bath. For a long time, sufferers have come to lie in this water for medicinal purposes.
В наше время в Пятигорске и в других городах Кавказских минеральных вод построено большое количество санаториев, где можно принять лечебные процедуры под контролем врача, с использованием чистой проверенной минеральной воды. Если бы мне захотелось, я бы обратилась туда.	Nowadays, a large number of sanatoriums have been built in Pyatigorsk and other cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters, where you can take medical procedures under the supervision of a doctor, using pure, proven mineral water. If I wanted, I would go there.
Но эти несколько природных ванн остаются популярны в народе. Как бесплатная альтернатива городским купальням эти ванны стали популярны в конце 19, начале 20 века. За это их назвали народными. Название «бесстыжие» ванны получили, когда мужчины и женщины стали здесь купаться обнажёнными.	But these few natural baths remain popular among the people. As a free alternative to city baths, these baths became popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. For this they were called folk. The name “shameless” baths was given when men and women began to bathe naked here.

Мы были в сентябре. Но день был теплым и солнечным. В бесстыжих ваннах нежилось довольно много людей. Заодно загорали и любовались видами с Пятигорска.	We were there in September. But the day was warm and sunny. Quite a lot of people were soaking in the shameless baths. At the same time, we sunbathed and admired the views from Pyatigorsk.
Вода в разных источниках и соответственно ванных – разной температуры. В том, что на первых фотографиях – самая горячая. В этом – чуть прохладнее.	Water in different sources and, accordingly, baths has different temperatures. The fact that in the first photographs is the hottest one. This one is a little cooler.
В горячие ванны люди приходят полежать круглогодично, даже зимой. Многие приходят сюда на отдыхе ради фотосессии в голубой воде на фоне красивого вида. Сразу понятно, что эти люди здесь в отпуске. Местные свято верят в лечебный эффект и приходят как на лечебные процедуры.	People come to hot baths to soak all year round, even in winter. Many people come here on vacation for a photo shoot in the blue water against the backdrop of a beautiful view. It is immediately clear that these people are here on vacation. Locals firmly believe in the healing effect and come for medical procedures.
Мы подошли лишь из любопытства к парочке этих ванн. Всего же их 14 на склоне горы Машук.	Just out of curiosity, we approached a couple of these baths. There are 14 of them in total on the slope of Mount Mashuk.
