В этом году впервые в Москве масштабно отмечают китайский Новый год. Многие улицы Москвы тематически украшены к этому древнему, но нетрадиционному в России празднику. И, хотя я бывала несколько раз в Москве в эти дни, но никак не удавалось посмотреть необычные декорации. This year, for the first time in Moscow, the Chinese New Year is celebrated on a large scale. Many streets of Moscow are decorated for this ancient, but unconventional holiday in Russia. And although I have been to Moscow several times during these days, I have never managed to see the unusual decorations.
Наконец, 7 февраля, приехав на спектакль в любимый театр – Камерную сцену Большого театра, - перед началом я пробежалась полчаса по Манежной площади. Finally, on February 7, having arrived for a performance at my favorite theater - the Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theater - before the start, I ran for half an hour along Manezhnaya Square.
Это одна из площадок Москвы, где проходит празднование китайского Нового года. This is one of the Moscow sites where the Chinese New Year is celebrated.
Яркий праздник привлек толпы народа. Приходилось поднимать фотоаппарат над головой, чтобы в кадр попало что-нибудь, кроме спин людей. The bright holiday attracted crowds of people. I had to raise the camera above my head to get anything in the frame other than people's backs.
Это коридор из декораций, киосков, фотозон. Сверху развешаны гирлянды лампочек и яркие китайские фонарики. This is a corridor of decorations, kiosks, photo zones. Garlands of lights and bright Chinese lanterns are hung from above.

Мне очень понравились несколько экспозиций, представляющих фигуры знаменитой глиняной армии. I really liked several exhibits representing the figures of the famous clay army.

Очень яркие надувные фигуры различных сказочных китайских персонажей. Кажется, это котик такой. Very bright inflatable figures of various fairy-tale Chinese characters. I think it's a cat.

Установлено очень много киосков с китайской едой. Мне было бы интересно попробовать, но, к сожалению, совсем не было на это времени. There are a lot of stalls with Chinese food. I would be interested in trying it, but unfortunately, I didn't have time for it.

Из коридора я вышла на большую площадку, где соединялся наш традиционный европейский и китайский Новый год. Здесь было установлено несколько больших ёлок, от которых шатром расходились гирлянды лампочек. Но к лампочкам были добавлены китайские фонарики. На каждой ёлке располагалась огромная фигура, связанная с Китаем. From the corridor, I went out onto a large area where our traditional European and Chinese New Years were combined. Several large Christmas trees were installed here, from which garlands of light bulbs spread out like a tent. But Chinese lanterns were added to the light bulbs. Each tree had a huge figure associated with China. Right in front of me was a tree with a large panda clinging to the trunk.
