Была прекрасная погода, очень красивые облака на голубом небе, красивая природа. | In June 2018, I took a boat ride on the Volga, it was a small cruise for several days. I took a lot of photographs. | Мне было интересно посмотреть и на птиц, живущих на Волге. Но птицы попадались не так уж часто. Вернее, было хорошо слышно их пение с лесных берегов. | Но вот среди них затесалась и птица с черной головой. Это, скорее всего, озерная (или обыкновенная чайка). С окрасом у неё интересно. Весной в брачный период голова тёмно-коричневая, почти чёрная. Летом, ближе к осени темное оперение линяет и к зиме взрослые озёрные чайки становятся почти белыми. Лишь на щеках небольшие тёмные пятна остаются. | But among them there was also a bird with a black head. This is most likely a black-headed (or common) gull. Her coloring is interesting. In spring, during the mating season, the head is dark brown, almost black. In summer and closer to autumn, the dark plumage molts and by winter, adult black-headed gulls become almost white. Only small dark spots remain on the cheeks. |
