Splinterlands Art Contest Week 300: Medusa
Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
It is another beautiful day and a good week to participate in this week's splinterland contest. I would be showcasing a very remarkable character for this week's contest.
The character I chose to draw this week is a popular character; Medusa. I first knew this character from the movie, clash of the titans. Then I went on to read about her story in that ancient Greek mythology. It is quite interesting.
I never knew is one of the splinterland characters until now. Her ability to turn anything living to stone is also remarkable.
Here is a brief story about our character:
Every water-breather in ΛZMΛRÉ knows that Gorgons live in their waters. A simple trip to the ocean floor reveals the statues of the unfortunate Merfolk who crossed the path of a Gorgon. Medusa is the only Gorgon to reveal herself to others without turning them to stone. At least they have a choice. Link
I actually reserved a lot of energy to make this work the way it is, and it requires that to get the details in the drawing.
