Week 273 of the Splinterlands Art Contest - My Entry; Ice Pixie
Somehow this week I feel likeIcarus the son of Apollo who took the waxed feathers his father gifted him and flew to his doom.
At the start of the holidays (or even before it) I had thought of making this week about another Pelacor character but then I saw the Ice Pixie. It initially was meant to be an easy fix but there's been power outage in my state for a week now. So that which appeared easy turned different.
Fortunately I was able to finish this just in time as to enter but then I had lost sight of the original idea and background. So this beauty you see right here is a miracle.
You know it's Christmas season so I tried suppressing the fierceness of the pixies for a tranquil face. One of the original ideas was to add Santa's hat but by the time I was done it's been four days after Christmas already.
